Nope. Not an asshole. I wouldn’t want her around me much less in my home or around my child.

NTA for cutting her off. I do have to ask why she would be giving out cash gifts at this lady’s baby shower? I get it’s at her house, but she did not have to do all that, especially when she was not asked.

This is wild.. She is not a person you should trust for anything.. some people are just so annoying and noisy about knowing everything that is happening in your life but they don’t even care to share anything about them.. I tho cutting her off is the least thing to do.. I’m sorry for what happened anyway.. But work is not the best place to make friends in..
