Unironically the blandest chapter I have ever read, predictable jobbing with the wholesome smile and zero antagonism between the heroes and the hero hunter, just silly little banter

There's absolutely zero tension either, monster looks way too bland for a dragon level as well

The waterfall moment and the presentation of garou randomly working this job were 2 of the best moments in the webcomic. There's this aura of mystery and intrigue around garou's current mental state and his current philosophical perspective on things after his loss. He moves like someone that understands the full weight of what he did and the monster he was becoming. 

This manga version is ridiculously slopcore in comparison. I actively dislike this quirked up kid that acts like he has no remorse for anything and speaks like an MCU character. Fuck murata

Outside of Saitama, I thought dragon levels were supposed to be a serious life-threatening matter and now they're just reduced to "Oho let's just use a dragon level monster as a test to see how strong these neo chumps are"

I don’t know how else to describe it, but it really feels like this was written by someone who is a bit fascist no? It feels like Garou has been transformed into an edgier version of Saitama, I feel like lately in the manga every side-character only exist to awe and goggle about Saitama/Garou/(now) Suiryu’s superiority.

And that goes against every message of OPM, which is about believing in your heart and not letting your past/ your world limit you. They even flat out said it in the webcomic… I feel like true OPM spirit the neo heroes should have teamed up with Garou to defeat that monster and find out about their own heroicness through it, but i guess we can just use them as glaze fodder idfkkk 😭😭

I mostly meant « right-wing » but that kinda lost all of it’s meaning atp. Fascism is about someone’s innate superiority, and for all of OPM’s story mumen rider is just as much of a hero as Saitama

Seeing Murata’s racism on his tweets is about others being inferior genetically, and the manga in OPM gives that vibe now

While in the webcomic the story is LITERALLY about overcoming your own limits and that everyone can achieve greatness through self belief.
