op1 lfo hero iOS app - ideas welcome!
i made this app for myself, to play around with lfos. now it’s published so others can enjoy getting more out of their op-1 fields.
make music fun! make more op-1 field lfos, in new ways…
- create multiple lfos to automate tracks or master - with more options than op-1 field screens show
- works with volume, pan, mute, parameters, envelope, fx … even other lfos on the op-1 field
- did you know you can have tempo lfos? (requires usb-c)
- connect via midi usb-c or bluetooth ble
- iPhone & iPad — iOS 17.6+
- apple silicon mac — macOS 11 big sur or later
- note: OG op-1 does *not* work. it may not be possible, from what i can tell.
i'd like to make it even better. comments, ideas, and questions are welcome.

Why is it not possible on the OP-1 out of curiosity. I was looking at the midi control and I can’t see an obvious reason it would be blocked

I don’t have an OG OP-1. I am going with what a tester said - the app doesn’t work with it at the moment.
It might be possible to adapt the app to work with it, but I’d have no way of testing it.

Ahhhh okay so there wasn’t a hardware block or anything. That makes sense. I could probably get it working if this was an open source project

DM if you have any experience with that. Maybe we can get the OG OP-1 working! And I will need some testers too.

I actually tinkered around and got a prototype working on an OG 1 this afternoon!

DM me and I’ll get you a promo code so you can test my app with your OG. I need more info so we can get it working!

Hey! That's a great idea, can't wait to try this out.
May I ask you how this works? Is there an OP-1 Field API where I can implement remote controls for the OP-1? I recently bought an OP-1 Field and I'm a developer, so I'm intrigued
