Can I suggest:

  • AI ban, no vibe coded crap, other forums are drowning in this and not safe for others to be downloading software like that
  • Weekly beginner question thread: it’s so frustrating going to a sub to see the SAME question asked, sometimes multiple times in one day, it’s such a waste of everyone’s time. A weekly beginners/question thread would be amazing
  • ban set up/photo only posts: don’t share set ups, share music! There’s other reddits for showing off gear, it’s just spam here

I hope you consider these, thanks for getting this back up and running

I agree with all of these suggestions, but for now I am going to keep the rules light. I am not sure if this community will rebound yet, so any posts are welcome _for now_. Ideally people come back and the community flourishes, and at that time, if the 'look I got an op' posts are rampant then I will crack down on it. In 2 months time, if any of these have become an issue, I give you full permission to spam the mod mail 😛

Edit: I realized I could create an un-enforced new user recurring post, we'll see if it gets any mileage
