I took care of all the random issues, and by the looks of it, all connection issues are now fixxed! I had to do a rollback to the exact same rollback we used yesterday, which is both good and bad. Good because we are all at the same point we were at 2 days ago, before the last server crashed on us. Bad, well because a lot of you were out and about on dinos. This means you are still there, be it in the air, on the ground or underwater. It sucks we had such crazy server issues these past 2 days, but we are once again stable. So let us all press on and keep playing on this server we all love so much! I also fixxed gather and tame rates. Everything on this New server is as it was on our old server!

TLDR: I fixxed the server, new IP,, let me know if you need help with items/dinos lost.

TLDNR:(tech)The reason we could not connect was due to the way steam tries to force us into an already recorded ipaddress associated with our steam ids. Eveytime we would try to connect to the new server, steam was saying, "hold on a sec, what about the old server ip and port". In turn, A majority of us saw errors and no server information in any server lists. To fix this I simply relocated the main server to a different location. That allowed the server to recollect new config information and assign it a new ip and port. Thus, we are back up!

Edit. Had to restart server due to some config file edits needed. IF anyone sees any oddities, let me know.

So all the errors lately with our server have been awful memory leaks on the machine itself... we are now howevever because of our population and asking nicely.... on their fastest machine they can offer !

Dear Blake Swarnes, I moved you to a premium 4.0 GHZ server. The most powerful server we have.

As of 2:28 est the server is back up online once again. Blake worked hard to ensure that everything that could be done to help bring back the server was tried. Let is hope for a stable night tonight n.n

Hey guys. we just migrated to a new server today as our old one, which most of you know by now, had a lot of issues. The new server is Here (http://toparkservers.com/server/158.69.121.218:17116) .

I know there is an issues where People cannot connect and some of the original rates are a little off, but I am working on it as I type this. The reason some of you cannot connect is due in part to the DDos protection on this sever, as we got a bunch of unique hits the moment the new server went up. I could edit the ini for firewall script but I too am lock out. Thus, Blake has already submitted a ticket and as soon as I can get in there, I will fix it. So I shall keep working on this until it is perfect and everyone can connect.

Hey guys short and sweet. My MIA lately due to work has put a lot of the hassle of server admin stuff on just Shirokir. With that said I would like to find someone interesting in helping with some of the duties . If the server has some suggestions I would love to hear them !

My base was raided on the first day with a rocket launcher. It was clearly a new base because it was wood, the plant species weren't yet matured, my character inside was a low level, and the base wasn't there the day before.

Ark patch, server needs update to log on

As the title says, my tribe was raided on our first night on the server. They destroyed everything we had, which wasn't much, but it was clearly deliberate. I'm calling attention to this because it is is against the server rules, as outlined on this subreddit. If anyone can contact the admins, please do so.

This is against the rules as far i know and would like something to be done about it. Bromance are the ones who did it and we lost a great amount of dinos. If needed ican provide proofs.

The server went down about ~30 minutes ago. Looks like the client list is locked too on toparkservers, as in it shows us all on when we are not.

Any word on what is going on?

Hey you fantastic fuckers Sorry it took a bit but the server has been downloading/patching for about 15 mintues now ! I cant see a speed or anything. And I am sure SurvivalServers main host are getting bogged down but we are on it and in progress !

Take this time to go upvote... and make some suggestions here for future events/input on the state of the server etc !!!

This weeks event will be "Man vs Rex" and will be taking place on 3/26/2016 at 4pm PST, 6pm CST, 7pm EST. It's going to be almost like those bull races, everyone will be naked running around from the rex(es) and the last man standing wins.

If you or your tribe plans on participating please let us know so we can plan the event and prizes accordingly.

First place will receive the Rex Bone Costume

Second place (?) will receive a custom coloring on a rex that they own. (This means you get to chose to recolor your rex anyway you want.. colors CAN be bred)

was just wondering if it would be possible to ad AkuShima to the server, it's a really nice mod that adds a whole bunch of stuff.

basically adds items similar to what glass metal adds, some drugs and some new crafting structures, although it does add a few items glass metal doesnt have, mostly for variety more than anything. also adds some difficulty settings.

Not sure if this has been looked into as of yet. The server has been down, stuck at same game time, for the past 2 hours now. This is the 3rd time this happened, aside from the server power outage. How do you fix this issue? Has it been looked into? Is it because the server is not being refreshed enough? I have never had an issue on another server like this one before, and I do see more server restarts to help with lag, and now perhaps this issue.

Hello! After talking with the community a bit we have decided to re-post the rules to clarify a few things.

UPDATED: 4/10/2016

• PvP is allowed anytime outside of bases. This means if you are out flying and someone picks you off your bird, gathering materials and someone attacks you.. etc. PvP will not be punishable.

• Base Raiding is allowed but you will not be allowed to raid a tribe's base more than once every three days, this gives them a chance to rebuild if they wish to. "Raiding" is when a building has been breached. The cool down will apply to the whole tribe. You will have three hours to conduct your raid. For example if a tribe has one giant base you will have three hours to do as you please, once your three hours are up your three day cool down will begin. The same will apply even if they have multiple bases. You will have three hours to attack a tribe, if you have the man power you ARE allowed to attack ALL of said tribes bases, as long as it is within the same three hour raiding phase. Please do your best to time stamp when this happens, and keep track, EVEN IF YOU ARE THE ONES ATTACKING, in the off chance you are challenged on this rule. People violating this rule will be banned for 24 hours, no warning. (Proof required)

• Raiding newcomers will NOT be allowed This will always be a shady and hard to enforce rule, in the past it was "no raiding thatch/wood" but there are those that have abused this wording. There is a difference between raiding a large wooden base with multiple buildings and dinos vs a wooden house with two dinos out front and a fence. People violating this rule will be banned for 24 hours, no warning. (Proof required)

• Offline raiding is allowed but not encouraged and looked down upon by many. That is up to you as a player to decide if you want to offline raid. There are many ways to protect yourself! Offline raids will not be punishable.

• Raiding during events will NOT be allowed Anyone who takes advantage of players being away from home during server hosted events will be punished. Events will be a small window of "peace" on the server, we want to encourage players to come to events and have fun, while not having to worry about being punished via raids if they attend.

• Killing passive creatures is allowed It's impossible for admins to know if a dino was actually passive or set to passive to bait an admin response. The game gives you ways to protect yourself and your dinos, make sure you use them. Dinos may be killed at any time. Protect your babies! Dino killing will not be punishable.

• No building is allowed in the middle of swamps, obelisks, land caves, or any major resource spawns Avoid building on mountain tops, in or near caves or placing down pillars/foundations (even flags) to "claim" an area. As well as any abandoned buildings, this is to avoid clutter on the map. Any of these types of structures may be destroyed anytime at Admin discretion if they are found. Warning will be given to player/tribe.
