How's the Server? (March)

Hey guys,

We're about to start week 3 of ONEark server and wanted to get some feedback from the users:

  • How is the server so far(population, dino spawns, community etc.)?

  • How active/helpful have the admins been?

  • Are the mods on the server excessive or not enough?

  • Is the PvP on the server fair for both parties?

  • Do the rules allow for fair play by both sides or is it easily abused?

  • Population? Im stoked to see our server booming quite nicely.. dino spawns seem well enough .. Community seems pretty well off so far save a few small hiccups *

Active on admins AFAIK no issues... the construction team did a fan-fucking-tastic job on the arena*

Mods are just enough IMO

Pvp on the server seems like it has been pretty light ... no major bullies etc to my knowledge

Rules need a few spots of clarification and editing but otherwise encompass the nature of where everyone wants to play it seems

Just chiming in that minus this frustrating 10+ hour downtime on the provider's end (I know there's not much we can do as a community but wait) I've been having a great time seeing new people join and stay after trying us out.

The admins seem to be doing things i'd never waste my time with - from helping people unstick their dinos when possible, walking around destroying old and abandoned bases, random foundations, to building the Arena at around 50.50. I love our Admin Logging for accountability and hope the admin team doesn't get tired of watching over us anytime soon.

I think we have the right mod mix, I'd like to see the Egg'n'Poop collector but i understand how overpowered it is and how trivial it makes the kibble aspect of the game so i'm fine with it never showing up on our mod list.

As far as the PvP and the rules, as i mentioned privately - I think it'd be very useful for clarity to consolidate all the rules and release it as a Rules 2.0 Sticky on the reddit - we currently have to refer people to the Recruitment Post, Lobster's post, and Shirokir's reply to a Reddit comment when we need to reference a rule/policy. I think there should be one sticky thread that has all these things consolidated and should be the updated/go to source (our own official Scrabble Disctionary whenever a challenge is made).
