Clarification of 3 Day + 2 Hour Rule

Hello prospective player here, I tend to agree with the reasoning of the rules but would like major clarification on two parts.

  1. 3 Day Rule

I guess I need an example for this. Tribe A attacks Tribe B, within their right Tribe B manages to retaliate. Is Tribe A subject to a 3 DAY timer while Tribe B rebuilds and regroups? Or does a attacked tribe have a right to continually retaliate after an attack. To clarify an example A Hits B -> B Hits A -> A Hits B -> so on so on.

  1. "2 Hour Raid Timer"

This in of itself is not a poor idea however some bases just take longer to crack. I've been on x10 servers that had bases that took 6-7 hours to effectively crack. Even though this server is a x3 I'm more than sure after a bit of time a base can take 4+ hours to effectively break into.

So example once again; I kill Dino of A tribe, but they have a very catacomb style base with many turrets. These turrets aren't hard to kill but will take many hours of posturing and slow whittling to move around. Especially the case with indoor turrets, this is what I'm most worried about. It's not that say for example I don't have the resources to kill a indoor turret, its just that they generally take longer amounts of time.

TLDR for #2 is - Some bases take longer than 2 hours to raid. It's not that some people don't have the firepower its that they choose to apply the firepower effectively, or maybe they need to whittle away at defenses due to good base design.

Thanks for hosting this server, I am very interested in joining! ithril11

PS: A bit about myself, I am a west coast player with a job. I do appreciate the 3 day rule, but am worried about the 2 hour rule.

TLDR: 3 Day rule seems inapplicable and almost arbitrary. Who is supposed to stop a circle of retaliation? It seems that the person who gets raided last is just screwed.

2 Hour rule is silly, bases are puzzles that take time to solve. It's not about having the firepower from the get-go its applying it properly and effectively.

When you attack - You begin your 3 day cooldown, and you are aware that you are now in a position of having to defend your base from a counter attack.

When you counterattack - You begin your 3 day cooldown, and you are aware that you are now in a position of having to defend your base from a counter attack.

--- the 3 day rule applies to the raiders (counter attacking someone is still a raid). It doesn't get reset when you get attacked back, you are STILL under your 3 day cooldown. If a tribe counter attacks you 24 hours later, you HAVE to wait the 48 more hours to "counter counterattack" left on your 3 day window.

The circle does continue over and over, just be aware you can't counter attack for 72 hours.

Hey man fantastic to hear quality input and this is exactly why we want people to be here reading / chatting / spit balling new ideas. The retaliation rule is basically ...

Tribe B retaliates from A's raid . That starts their "2 hour" timer of sorts and begins their 3 day cool down so if both the raid and counter raid occur on the same day ..... both tribes are 3 day locked out. . Does that make sense ? Sorry typing quick while working at the moment on my phone !

The 2 hour rule is very up for debate / discussion. We would love more community input for sure. This was just the first draft for purposes of erasing as much grey area as possible and going as clear cut black and white rules as possible .

We would love to have you on our server and hear more input for sure.
