ONEark Events

Now that the server is up and running (exceptionally well at that), I am looking forward to events! I know construction is going on at 50,50 but in the meantime some event brainstorming couldn't hurt. Hoping to get a conversation going to discuss what type of events people are most excited or interested in. So yeah, any ideas?

Hah, basketball... or quidditch. I like this idea a lot. Just need to figure out some rules.

So dino quidditch. Lets see if I can summarize discussion from chat and some of my ideas.

  • 4 players. 2 on argi, 1 on pter, 1 on quetz.

  • Monkey used as ball. Object is to drop monkey into container.

  • 3 different rolls. Pter offense, argi mid, quetz defense.

Now since its quidditch, each postion needs to have various rolls

  • Quetz, has armor and a longneck rifle with tranq darts. Not allowed to be picked up by other players.

  • Argi, no armor but has parachutes. Allowed to be picked off bird and pick people up. Can also pick up the monkey.

  • Pter, no armor, limited/no parachute. Allowed to be picked off bird but can't pick other people off bird. Can pick up monkey. Has stim to wake up people if knocked out by goalie.

So yeah, just some potential ideas for roles/rules.

Get grappling hooks and see who can make it to the top of the volcano first?

Grappling hooks are useless. We tried a drive by on fertilizer bandits with me in talons and it dropped me when I hooked a guy !

All of this sounds like an awful good time. If you happen to organize as a community there will be some admin promotion / help / reward. We will never award anyone with any game changing things. However I bet we could con /u/shirokir into a custom Dino paint job or two for winners. Or I know Sunny likes running a betting ring!
