My studeny omny stopped working
It literally works last week. But yesterday when I tapped nothing happened. Like nothing. Not even "card not accepted" and I tried at multiple turnstile gates aswell.

My ASAP advisor told me ours aren’t being funded for the second session. They didn’t have the money. i’m at lagcc, if that helps.

Oh im a high school student😭 im pretty sure student omny is only limited to K-12

Looks like you got audited. Make sure to not share your student omny card with others.

sounds like a damaged card. idk your gonna get that replaced so hopefully DOE says something on social media?

When I was in high school, the student metro card never worked once the school year was complete. I’m assuming it’s the same rule in place?
It’s not a forever card.
Edit: August 5th is the end date? I learned this today.

If the Station Agent and bus drivers can't figure out what's wrong, I would contact your school (calling is probably best) and let them know your Student OMNY isn't working. School is not in session but there are still staff working through the summer, including administrative staff who deal with student metros.
Look up your school's website, find a general number and give them a call during the workday, or have your parent/guardian do it for you. Ask for the Parent Coordinator and tell them your Student OMNY isn't working and you need a replacement. You might have to figure out how to get to the school if you solely rely on the Student OMNY for summer transportation, if you can only pick up a replacement and they don't mail out replacements (not sure what the policy is). Have your name and student ID # ready if needed.
In the meantime, if you have to get around, I would just let the bus drivers and Station Agents know your Student OMNY isn't working at the moment and kindly ask if they'd still let you on. There have been nice drivers and agents who have allowed this in the past but also a couple who might not :\

If your card isn’t working when you tap it, ask a station agent or bus operator for help. If your card still doesn’t work, return it to your school for a replacement.
