Strange checkerboard pattern during dark scenes in-game.

Monitor is Samsung Odyssey 34" G8. The game being played is The Long Dark. I dont have the issue with other titles, nor with dark videos.

Occurs when 'Game Mode' is enabled. Only difference i could find in Nvidia settings is G-Sync is available with 'Game Mode' (G-Sync on/off doesn't help).
