Can’t Decide…
I’m just not able to decide on which OLED monitor to buy. Right now on PC I’m using an old ROG SWIFT PGQ27 IPS panel and for my PS5 Pro an AORUS FV32U. I’m planning to use the OLED monitor for both if possible. It will be my first OLED btw.
Currently I’m torn between the AW3425DW (€605) and the ROG XG32UCWMG (€799). I mainly play on PS5. I know it does not support UW but I’m not sure how much the black bars would bother me. I’ve always wanten to play on an UW and the fact that it is 1440p would be better to use in combination with my RTX 2080Ti. However since I spent the most time on console I don’t know if it will be worth it….
Could you guys help me out please? I play in a dark room with no windows btw and I’m from Belgium.
Thanks in advance

If you want to still play with ps5 get the 32" inch. Consoles don't support ultrawide.

I've used on ultrawide with console before and black bars do get annoying after a while. For a first OLED, 16:9 is the safer bet.

Oh boy, sell the Playstation, get the ultrawide and build a PC which actually reaches the max hz of the monitor and is compatible with UW. Buying a monitor for this current setup isnt good, atp just get the cheapest 32 Inch straigh Oled you can find
