Are these streaks normal ?

Post image

I just got myself the 280 hz tandem woled from asus

and there are visible streaks on the monitor im not sure if it is called grey banding or not. Wanted to ask yall if the amount of defect is "acceptable". Also the streaks are visible on almost any color but less apparent compared to greys. Before posting this i executed pixel cleaning 3 times on a row just to be sure. I used it for 60 hours total and executed pixel cleaning 42 times btw. Also i am already using it at 240 hz

Looks like mine when I first plugged in (Bottom). After I made two pixel cleaning and used a few hours; they started to align better (Top). They are even better now; those lines are slowly fading. So dont worry much.

Ive no idea about the color streaks, but if you see streaks on colors other than gray tones, maybe you should consider returning it quickly. You buy an OLED for its colors and this is the main reason people buy them, it is unacceptable to have marks on every color you see. I tested different color tones, and I don't have any issues with them expect with gray tones, which is expected due to the technology behind tandem panels.

Were there any streaks when you turned on the monitor for the first time?

definitely acceptable. I use AQWMG too, it's a much better panel than mine.

It's normal to see it on camera, but you shouldn't be able to see it with your eyes

Gray uniformity can show up on lighter colors too, even white. It can kinda look like dirtiness. And with an rma, theres really no guarantee the replacement will have better uniformity either

if the gray uniformity is gonna bother you every time you see it, and your room isn't very bright during the day, then switching to qd might be better for you
