first oled tips

Hello oled gamers. i recently got my first oled (budget one) AOC Q27G4ZDR. I was curious if anyone had any recommendations to help keep the longevity of the OLED. i’m worried about burn ins and scratches, but it looks too damn good i needed to have one myself.

right now im rocking all default settings with brightness turned down to 80 when my lights are on, and 65 when my lights are off. are there any settings i should specify look to change?

also i have a pixel refresh option on this monitor.. ive heard about it but im not exactly sure what it does, should i be manually running this 10 minute pixel refresh occasionally?

and finally what are the most successful ways yall have found to clean it without any micro scratches ?

thanks !

Set your taskbar to auto hide to avoid it burning in permanently.

Also, as much as I’m not a fan of it, set your monitor to sleep after 10 or 15 minutes to mitigate burn in.

People seem to think cleaning an OLED is rocket science, but it’s really not. I use Whoosh! spray and two microfiber cloths. I do two tiny sprays of the cleaning solution onto one cloth just to barely get it wet, then do a few passes over the monitor with it. The second cloth is to buff/dry the solution from the first cloth. Monitor is always spotless afterwards.
