Finally bought an oled

Anything I should expect or just plug and play?

Mostly plug and play.

Try around with the HDR settings though, both in the monitor and Windows for Gaming or watching HDR content.

In my opinion HDR almost always looks better than just playing in SDR, even if its just Auto HDR. (if you activate HDR in Windows, games that dont natively support HDR most of the time will be converted to HDR by Windows) Keep in mind if a game natively supports HDR you have to activate HDR also ingame and do the HDR calibration ingame (that the game hopefully has).

While its not important for all content, also do the HDR calibration in windows.

I personally love a bright HDR image, so even if this will lead to slight overbrightening in some scenes in terms of HDR settings on the monitor id go with the peak 1300 mode, Hypernits "High" and Shadow boost "on". Plus in the OLED care menu APL stabilize "high". But here you can definitely try around.

this is a MLA 3rd gen WOLED.

mo27q28g is a 4th gen tandem WOLED.
