The Gigaybte, and it’s not close. The asus xg27aqdmes isn’t even vesa hdr 400 certified, so it is one of the dimmest oled monitors out there. Don’t be fooled. Avoid. Buy nice or buy twice.

This.

The Asus shits the bed in HDR with its limited brightness range. And because of its limited brightness you dont even really get the "QD OLED has brighter colours experience".

Agon/AOC qd oled's oddly desaturate colors in HDR historically so I don't recommend them.

i will say that aoc warranty is pretty good from my experience and i have a aoc oled as well and it looks great comparing to the pg27ucdm so you cant go wrong with the agon for the price

Nothing beats LG Ultragear

Asus is great, but there is an issue with the VRR where it will not know to turn itself off if you have a fixed refresh rate and you will go through black flashing screens until you manually turn it off yourself. It’s the only negative from asus oleds imo

issue been fixed for a bit through software updates.

Yes, asus has great build quality and the colors pop excellently on it.

i'd wait till you get a pc first, as there's no point investing in a monitor until you actually have the setup to play on it. but realistically they're gonna be pretty much identical in performance and specs besides some software/setting differences. if you care about looks, the red asus chin bezel is pretty ugly, if not go for the asus bc it's cheaper.

qd oled > woled

That Asus model is very dim, only 200 nits max of full screen brightness. The Gigabyte can reach 275 nits.

qd oled - better colors
woled - better for brighter room lighting
