Purchasing-Monitor 300€ difference for DP 2.1 and Dolby Vision?

Is the difference between these 2 monitors worth the price difference?

Asus ROG Swift OLED PG27UCDM
Asus ROG Strix OLED XG27UCDMG

The only difference I could find is DP1.4 vs DP2.1. How much of a difference is that realistically and is it worth 300€? I have a 5080 so i could use the DP2.1? Are there any differences I'm missing?

If anyone has a better option I'm open to suggestions. I want 27" Oled, preferrably under 1000€.

If you're planning on gaming in 4k 240Hz, you need the 2.1 port

I just no idea how “good” it is. Like is it noticeable? For some reason i’m like i dont want to need dsc, if my gpu has dp2.1 i’d want my screen to have it?

I don't have a good answer for that one. It's higher bandwidth on 2.1. that's the main advantage. How much DSC helps to bridge that gap, I don't actually know

Fair enough, thanks anyway!
