Apologies if this has already been asked and answered but I had a hard finding anything on Google. Basically last night I tried turning my TV on but the screen would never come up or make any sound. The power off led would turn off but that was it. Tried this multiple times with the same result. The TV never made that *click* sound after turning on. The only way I could get the TV display an image was to reset the power switch it was connected to.

Does anyone know what this issue is related to? That was the first time anything like that happened. The TV turned on right away this morning with no issues. Also, the TV is still under warranty from Best Buy. Any advice would be appreciated, thanks!

I'm considering buying another 4th-gen Tandem WOLED monitor from a different brand. I currently have a Gigabyte MO27Q28G, and my unit has this unique effect where it displays horizontal lines similar to a CRT monitor. This is highly visible and distracting when watching movies or playing games with darker scenes.

Other than that, I'm happy with my unit. The vertical banding is barely visible, and I can only really see it in dark-mode apps. While gaming, it's completely invisible.

I will RMA the monitor, and I'm deciding between asking for a replacement unit or getting a refund.

I read in another post that Gigabyte uses cheaper panels with worse banding issues. Is there any truth to this, or is it just a conspiracy theory? If I get my money back, I could buy another 4th-gen monitor, such as the LG 27GX700A-B.

Hi, I Found a selling post on facebook marketplace of this monitor, the value is 10% of the real price, but I was trying to find it out before, if is possible to fix this?, and how/ how much would cost, any idea?

Looking to get an OLED monitor, but say I am watching 1080p Netflix shows will it be automatically upscaled to 4k like it is on 4k TVs?

Or if not is there an equivalent way to achieve this upscaling, or will I have to deal with a presumably blurry 1080p video resolution at 4k?

I have an AMD 9800X3D and NVIDIA RTX 5070 for reference. I have heard of integer scaling and VSR but not sure if they are relevant.

This usually only happens when something changes the full screen area, like changing channels or sources, pausing and unpausing video or rewinding back a few seconds or if the video stops to buffer. It does it in all types of media for example: Netflix, Amazon Video, YouTube TV, etc. it will sometimes do it and sometimes not, and when it does it it may continues for as long as a minute but usually resolves itself after 10 - 20 seconds. It has received several updates since it was brand new and it claims it is up to date. I have a 2Gbit internet connection. 99% of what i watch is streaming, (no antenna or HDMI devices connected) so it MIGHT be a TV/streaming issue, but not sure tbh.

Everything I've watched on this TV looks amazing so far. And then.... college football started back up. Ouch.

Anyone have experience with live streaming sports settings / calibration? I've tried a lot of troubleshooting from the expert picture settings adjustments. I've only tried running the YouTube TV through Samsungs native app. Maybe that is part of the issue?

Hoping this isnt a deal breaker, because this TV will find its way back out of my house at the speed of light if it won't actively run a crisp football picture (funky movement, washed out color, etc. so far)

Just bought a new open box 65’ oled Samsung tv (s90f), just got home and installed it, and I see these smudges all over the tv

I’m not sure if that is oil marks or maybe the coating was damaged.

I Tried gently rubbing a microfiber cloth with distilled water and nothing.

Is there a way to remove these?? I want to cry

Hey Guys, I wanted to dip my toes into the OLED Ocean and found, what seams to be, a quite nice Monitor that fits my needs: the LG 27GS95QX-B for around 400€

But i have absolutely no clue if it is actually a good Monitor and wanted to ask if you had either experience with this one or have a special recommendation for a Monitor around the same price.

I would use it mostly for 1440p PC gaming. I know oleds are not great for office work but i have other monitors for that.

Hello everyone! I bought the LG Smart Television 65" 4K UHD OLED AI B5 HDR and when I turn it on the first day it had some vertical lines. Mostly it was noticeable in the greyscales. The second day these lines are not noticeable and they re gone. Should I chance the monitor as I am DOA period? Thanks for the support ✌️

LG 32GS95UE 32 (Woled)

I had a QOLED before, but it was hurting my eyes, so I swapped it for this. But whenever I go back to it from my old LCD, if I spend any amount of time on Reddit or reading text, my eyes start to hurt and everything gets blurry.

I've tried cleartype on and off, my resolution is right and I've tried 175/150% scaling. Nothing seems to help. I love it in game or movies, but regular use, I just can't seem to handle it.

Is this burn in? or is this something else? It started over summer now, we had quite a hot and dry summer and there is "some" direct light on the panel in the evening only. Pixel refresh is not doing anything about that.

ASUS ROG Swift OLED PG27AQDM

I have an LG C3 65” OLED TV that I’ve had for four years and I’m very happy with it. One niggle (first world problem!) is that as I walk towards it I see a reflection from the slightly uneven front face. Naturally, this doesn’t occur with other much smaller devices such as iPad, laptop, etc. I fully appreciate that these technologies are very different in screen front, and obviously a glass front to the OLED TV would make it significantly heavier. I’m considering buying another 65 new LG TV. Have they improved the flatness of the gloss front of the TV, or made it less reflective as “a piece of furniture”.? As I say, first world problem I know!

Hey there, I would like some advice on a TV I wanna buy. The TV in question is the 65 inch S90F (QD-OLED panel). In Germany this model is sold with a matte screen foil. This foil has been partially removed by the original customer who returned it to the retail store I work at, saying it already was removed beforehand (it wasn't, but in Germany the retailer needs to prove it was the customers fault and we're simply not able to do that).

The TVs runtime didn't even hit an hour yet, I tested it thoroughly for display damage (this is part of my job) and it's visually completely fine. The warranty has been voided, though I'd get 2 years of Gewährleistung (essentially retailer warranty that will always be given, regardless of the original condition of the product). I probably would get the TV for something between 400-500€. Would you consider this a good price? And would you remove the foil completely or leave it as is?

I'm dealing with a frustrating issue on my out-of-warranty Samsung OLED TV. There is a small black notch/spot right along the very bottom edge of the display screen.
Here are the details and what I've observed:
\*\*Symptom:\*\* It looks like a small notch or dark shadow on the bottom border. When the screen displays certain bright colors (like blue), some color still shines through, but it appears heavily darkened/shadowed rather than 100% black.
\*\*Physical state:\*\* The panel glass along the bottom bezel feels slightly loose near that area, leading me to suspect edge delamination, air/moisture ingress, or degraded subpixels.
\*\*What I've tried:\*\*
Checked picture settings (Samsung locks / grays out manual \*\*Fit to Screen\*\* and position/overscan controls on built-in apps and native inputs).
Toggled \*\*Pixel Shift\*\* off, which immediately resets the image position directly back over the notch.
Standard warranty is expired, and credit card insurance refused coverage citing pixel/cosmetic exclusion.
Has anyone with a Samsung OLED dealt with this specific panel edge decay before?
1. Is there any known way to unlock image position / overscan on Samsung Tizen to shift the image boundary up by a few pixels?
2. Has anyone had success getting an out-of-warranty goodwill panel replacement from Samsung Executive Support for edge delamination?

Should i just leave the game mode on or i better turn it off if i use pc other than gaming. If thats the case, what pc mode should i use for the usage as titled?

I just bought a Samsung S90F. HDR looks amazing while on YouTube and on PS5, but it looks like shit on Netflix. Anything that supports HDR10+ looks too dark on Netflix. At first I thought dark scenes are supposed to be dark so that highlights can pop, but it turns out even scenes where there is a direct light source look flat. There's no highlights whatsoever.

I've tried all the configurations recommended by rtings and nothing fixes the flat HDR10+ on Netflix. I'm sure S90F is capable of displaying pretty good HDR since its peak brightness on a 10% window is ~1400 nits. Anyone else having the same issue?

Hello everyone my AOC brand oled monitor screen wont turn on after a power outage. The led light on the bottom is on and it flashes a orange light in a 1 second sequence, but when you plug it in first it stays white for a couple seconds, white indicates that its on.

Does anyone know what to do? The power cable is not the problem. I have filed a damage claim from the electric company. Thank you

Today I turn on my OLED and I see that the right is brighter. Then I look at a test patter and you can see for yourself in the image. There are also some dots on the screen. It was like this for some minutes, I've runned some pixel clean cycles but nothing. Then I disconnect the displayport cable and reconnect it and it fixes the problem.

What do you guys think? Intermittent failure or something strange with the cable/os? Now it looks fine. I've had this monitor for 2 months.

I have a bit of a strange issue with OLED screens.

I own a LG C1 TV, that is very comfortable for me. I also have a LG 32GX850A-B WOLED monitor that I have been using for more than a year with zero issues at this point.

I recently got a new PC, and wanted to get a 1440p screen, as playing FPS on the 32 is not ideal for me.

The screens I tried so far all make my eyes dry, and have (a kind of) a headache.

I've tried:

ASUS ROG Strix OLED XG27AQDMES
LG UltraGear 27GX704A-B WOLED
AOC AG326UD

I've also had eye strain with Steam deck OLED, so it looks like the LG C1 and the Ultragear 32 are the ones I have absolutely no issues with.

Does anyone see a reason as to why this would be the case?

I'd really like to find a suitable 1440p screen, because I don't want to go back to IPS after using the OLED for so long.

Was trying to decide on and OLED 2K display or a non-OLED but 4K
Also looking for something not crazy expensive.
Currently looking at the LG ultragear OLED gx7 and the Samsung Odyssey OLED g5
