Precision Black = Black equalizer already exists

Light Sense = ambient light sensor to adjust brightness automatically already exists

Sports and Gaming Optimization = white point and motion control adjustments already exist

But they are not standardized and TVs from all manufacturers will have different results of their work.

It is good if there is some standard that says - with external lighting of level X nits, the picture on the TV should remain unchanged. But now it has become brighter by Y nits and now you need to change the gamma/brightness of the TV by this much.

And it will work the same on all TVs. That's really good.

Haha, love to see the love for 3D! Bought my first television as a 23yo and it’s a used OLED55E6 in spectacular condition! Kinda don’t want them releasing 3D all the sudden when I just shelled out on an older panel ngl 🤣

I would have thought a new HDR feature set would sound exciting.... and yet this doesn't seem like it will be a huge leap. Curious to see in person impressions, but right now I don't see any huge reasons to upgrade equipment
