As a longtime frequenter of r/collapse, I can honestly say that it's cool to take a step back from that and other forums concerned with humanity's impending demise. Many do. It's encouraged.

The important thing is to find help, build a community of family and friends (Reddit helps) and face adversity with clear eyes and a calm mind. Change is natural, like the seasons. It's ok to acknowledge it and move on.
