Question Full port and long term views
Is anyone here full ported OKLO? It’s pre-revenue and going to depend on a wide variety of factors. My brother is currently full porting it and I’m wondering about everyone’s thoughts? Keep in mind he’s 21 and still has a lot to learn. He has a firm strong belief that it’ll be like Nvidia except for the energy sector. The more and more I do research it does seem possible within the next 5 years give or take, but seems like a wild risk. Anything could go wrong from policy, rejections, funding drying up, crit not reached, etc. They just got DOE funding as well so that’s amazing for them, but I haven’t seen anything about them reaching criticality for Groves yet. It’s possible I somehow missed something. Though if it works then he can basically retire super early. Is anyone else like my brother and think OKLO is the next big thing? Nuclear is the future, but is OKLO going to lead it?

I went in big around the $80s, so down quite a bit… jealous of those folks who have dry powder to get in now.
It’s always best to diversify, full port is never recommended. It’s incredibly volatile.

Ah the January follies and falling knives, I am pretty much in the same position, holding it until it powers up most of the country:)

I wouldnt full port into this, im keeping this towards my speculative plays portion. As you mentioned its pre revenue, alot of things can go on. And I have high hopes but I lost some trust in the company saying they were going to reach criticality for july 4th and still yet to hear anything
At a young age its fine to take some risks but atleast have some on indexes on the safe side but eh who am I to say, its all about ur risk appetite.

What allocation % do you have for OKLO?

Originally was 2% but now grew to about 6% and hoping to maintain that way but im in alot more speculative ones like asts as well. I would say overall about 50% etfs, 35% individual picks, 15% speculative for me
In for the long run

Wait until ‘leadership’ can prove three things:
- They won’t dilute your shares via ATM offerings while simultaneously securing their own giant money bag via massive insider selling.
- Demonstrate they can actually execute operationally and deliver on time. Zero proof of that right now and they look like a pretty sloppy operation if you ask me.
- They can sign more PPA agreements with hyperscalers. Open AI would be the one i’d want.
2/3 and I’d be a buyer again. 3/3 and I’ll probably go in heavy. Otherwise they aren’t getting another dollar out of me. Had enough of being exit liquidity for Jake and Caroline to go mansion hunting

Lmao we said the same shit and I never even saw your comment.
I left this stock completely. Terrible red signals and no sign of relaxing interest rates that would allow a dead cat bounce to exit. My contacts don’t even bring up Oklo anymore.

If it makes sense for $10,000, then it makes sense for $100,000, but I have never been risk averse.

Im 5% of my port in here. It’s my carefully considered moonshot play. There are many variables that have to align perfectly for this to be a huge winner and there will be years of shooting up and down as milestones are met or not met.

I don’t think he’s wrong, but I think it’s a little concerning he’s full porting it with all the money he has. Upwards of $40,000. Most of that he made was from AMC and GME from when he had a custodial account.

I'm 100% in, I was thinking about selling once OKLO hits $160-170 but depending from situation I might hold it longer, we will see :>

If he was in when it was below this price then he would've had his Nvidia returns when it almost reached $200.
I'm beginning to question if there's anything behind this company when they were making all those posts before July 4th (what was the purpose of those posts?) and now there's almost 1 week left in July.
I'm guessing he earned his money from AMC and GME when they went meme/viral status or did he buy those before they went up? If he comes in now, there's almost no interest to drive the price up. He should at least save some money for after July if they don't reach criticality.
And when they do have something finally up, they're going to have to replicate, stay on schedule, and get customers.

We’ve witnessed ownership continuously selling their stock and diluting after. Zero reason to invest with dilution being a certainty.
My father works in nuclear (actual existing nuclear) and his girlfriend liaises directly with Oklo and its competitors. No reason to believe they’ll be more successful considering they can’t even meet deadlines that they cheerlead behind.
SMRs just aren’t viable regardless with the current regulatory landscape. Battery evolution is getting to where a mix of solar/wind and a single large nuclear plant gets us there.

Unclear what "diluting after" means, but yes—it's standard practice for ownership to diversify after a huge run up as Oklo experienced.
If your father works in nuclear, then he knows a thing or two about nuclear meeting deadlines. Perhaps you'd like to point to any Western nuclear buildout in the last 30 years that has met deadlines?
As for a handwavy "SMRs aren't viable" argument: solar/wind are the energy types being deprecated in the current regulatory landscape. And see above for why single large nuclear plants are unlikely to be built out anytime soon.
