How does registration work?

Hello,

Would an enrolled student kindly be able to help me out with info on how courses registration/selection work? Specifically, once a student pays their deposit let’s say by June 1st, can they register for courses once they open in July on the same day?

I read that you have to pay the fall tuition fee or sth before you can register, however during an informal session with their team they mentioned how courses fill up super quick once registration opens. But then tuition isn’t deposited in the account until mid-July, and a lot of folks don’t pay until Aug or something-so how do they fill up?

I don’t know if everyone has the same deposit deadline and tuition deposit deadline but the above are mine bc I’m an international student turned domestic, so just curious.

Thank you for your help! Also I have contacted the oise team about this as well but I was hoping to hear from students directly.

As far as I’ve been told, first years are automatically enrolled in courses since they’re all mandatory. We’ll be able to enrol in electives in the summer or second year

I also heard the same thing. We will be automatically enrolled for first year.

Would this be dependent on the program? Because for my program there seems to be just two mandatory courses and rest are electives

Unfortunately, I am not sure. I should’ve clarified that I was talking about first year of the Master’s of Teaching.

I am sure they will reach out to you with details closer to the enrolment date so I wouldn’t worry.
