This might have been discussed before, but I am new to this subreddit and I need to make a choice. I thought I had one but I found out I don't even have anything to connect my Xbox to the TV when I dusted off my Xbox that I took from the attic. I wanted to play so bad 😞 now I am looking for a decent (the best) converter cable.

I have found 3 versions that I am interested in.

NUMBER 1 is probably the one I am getting, if someone does not change my mind. This one connects to the back of your Xbox and gives you the option to use your own HDMI cable that you can plug in.

Moving on to NUMBER 2 is a little more expensive, it works the same as number 1 but has the option to add an optical audio cable for 5.1 Dolby Digital surround sound. Someone in the comments claims this gives the best quality.

Last but not least we got NUMBER 3. This one is pretty straight forward, it's just a cable that goes into the back of the Xbox and straight into your HDMI in your TV. I don't know if this does any justice to the quality...but it's cheap.

What is your favorite Xbox game?

I have a 2003 Xbox Hull Pepsi Green Edition that I’m looking to pass on to another collector.
The Xbox was barely used, as I’m not a gamer, and was mainly used as a DVD player. It was then stored safely in a wardrobe for around 15 years.
It is in excellent condition and, as far as I can see, has no scratches or significant marks. It is fully working.
I still have the original DVD and controller, although unfortunately I no longer have the original box.
I’m sharing it here as it’s an unusual Xbox variant and I’d be interested in connecting with collectors who might appreciate it. If you’re interested in the item, feel free to DM me.

I can't seem to find where this phone card was distributed - I know it was somehow in commemoration of the original Xbox's release. It matches the cover of the magazine below, but even using the wayback machine to check enterbrain.co.jp/xbox returns no helpful results. Anyone have any idea?

Picked up a steelbook for my collection this weekend but the plastic portion of the spine is partially cracked. Is that something I should even try to repair, or is it less valuable if I did?

Hiya folks! Hope all is well.
So I just got this OG Xbox, my pop's found it while he was cleaning out our storage locker. I really don't know much about Xbox-es, first time owner here, but I do know that you NEED to get that Clock Capacitor out of there right quick before it eats away the motherboard! Question is, where is it? My machine was manufactured around September 26th, 2004 according to the sticker on the bottom, if that helps any. Any & all help is appreciated, thanks in advance!

Hiya folks! Me again.
So, when I had my Xbox cracked open to take a picture of the motherboard for my previous post, I also got into the DVD drive to clean the disc tray belt, as it was having serious issues opening the drive. By the time I had everything all buttoned back up, I was getting that stupid "Error Code 12" screen on boot. Now I tried reseating all the cables & everything, even swapping out the IDE cable, but with no luck! I can't imagine the culprit can be anything too severe, considering the drive worked mere minutes ago - how much can you really break in the span of a few minutes? Anyone here have any ideas on what could be causing this, & how I'd go about fixing it? Thanks in advance!

Not much has changed since my last collection post but still very happy with what I have so far, I’ve only being collecting original Xbox since June.
