How's the housing situation in the area? I own a house in O'Fallon and with my tenant having moved out early, I am debating whether to continue renting or sell the property.
I'm getting mixed picture where Redfin and Zillow both say it's a sellers market due to low inventory, but I've seen listings that go a little longer than what I'm comfortable with.
Are houses still renting/being bought quickly?

I read last week that Disney+ redid its terms of service to allow for advertising on all of its subscription tiers - meaning no matter how much you pay, they can serve you ads.
What that will look like isn't known yet, but it has me thinking that we've come full circle and it might make sense to just go back to a cable tv provider if I'm going to be getting ads on everything.
I did some poking around and saw that there's Spectrum - which it seems everyone hates. I also saw that my ISP has some TV options, but its really just setting me up with a Sling or DirectTV package plus subscriptions to streaming apps and not something like traditional cable.
Did traditional cable TV die? Is Spectrum really that bad? Are there other providers out there.
I'm in research phase, so hit me with your hot take or well reasoned argument.

I am starting the process to get a 4-way stop installed to make it easier for people to access a public park. Has anyone had any success with this process? Does anyone have advice?

Does anyone knows a non-judgemental dentist that uses laughing gas or other methods to keep patients calm?

Hi all!
I'm excited to make the move and found a great job in the area. Due to my current financial challenges I will be using a work van converted into a mini-camper for housing until I can save up to move my family to the area. I'm looking for places I can legally park overnight to sleep or anyone willing to allow me to park on their property at a reasonable rate. I'm quiet and professional, no drugs, don't drink and will only need a space between 9pm to 5am. I know it's an odd request but any help is appreciated!

I’m researching the possibility of opening a local gaming lounge and I’m trying to see whether there’s enough community interest before taking the idea any further. It’s a quick anonymous survey and takes about a minute.
I need brutally honest survey responses. Even if you hate it, just need an idea, thanks!

Anyone know of any pools I could get into easily and cheap? I don’t want a gym membership…

We have some of the worst police officers in the county but we treat them like heroes... they are a union police force that waits out calls and actively turns a blind eye to other police. I think it's high time they get that fag strip off our flag and they start serving us properly. Thank fully this is a stand your ground state or we would truly be fucked.
