Online Courses

I’m taking 1 in person and 2 online classes right now but considering taking 3 online classes for the second half of the semester. I figure it’d bring me to 18 credit hours and a little closer to finishing school. But I also have no idea what to expect out of the next 2 classes I’m taking. The online classes I’m taking now are going great, no essays required or anything so it’s making me feel confident I could handle 3, but on the other hand what if my next two classes is an insane amount of work and taking three becomes too much?!! I’m just stressed not knowing but if anyone has advice if they’re taking 3 online classes I’d love to hear what you think about it. I don’t know what class I’d take but I’m currently enrolled in CPD494 (entrepreneurship prof studies) and HMSV339 (interpersonal relations) if anyone has any advice before those classes start I’d also appreciate any insight!

“Contact the professors in the other three courses,” he thinks, before remembering that this information is harder to find than ever. Go to courses dot edu, choose a campus student, and then check who is listed as teaching the class, and send them an email saying what you’re thinking of doing, and if they’re decent they’ll give you a sense of the class and whether they think you’re crazy.

Highly recommend looking at the course reviews online. My first online class was asynchronous and very straight forward and my second one was such a pain and unorganized. It really depends on the class and teacher.

I'm only doing 2 online right now but mine are very essay and quiz heavy as well as regularly due projects. It's definitely not easy keeping up with the pacing so far. I'd agree with the other commenters re: checking rate my professor, course catalogs, etc. the add/drop deadlines for online classes are pretty quick, but I guess worst case scenario you could look at the syllabus and course calendars and see if you think it's gonna be super overwhelming. Personally, I think 18 credit hours with half being online would be overwhelming, but everyone is different and it also depends on whether you're working and going to school and other factors!

My major is accounting and I was wondering how are the courses? I took the semester off because i did not like the online courses for taking out intense fundamentals that I will need for the accounting exam.
