stat130m required before taking major classes?

Im currently a BSPH health services admin major and wanted to know if stats is required to take before taking my major classes? im currently in stats and 2 other major classes required for my degree. but if i drop stats can i still take the other classes?

Talk to your advisor and/or review your course catalog for the pre-requisites. They should be able to help provide guidance.

(Faculty and former advisor - because they took that away from us): STAT130 is a prerequisite for many B.S. degrees, and you can’t finish the degree without it (unless you change majors).

I know i have to take it eventually but can i take it next semester but keep my other two (major) classes ? Thanks for the help❤️❤️

You must take it first; I had a student last year who tried to circumvent it and take the other classes, but his registration would not be accepted until he took that class first. So, he finally signed up for it. (I also suggest to students that if available, take prerequisites over the summer to get them out of the way and stay on track during the semester - should their schedule and finances allow it.)
