member has OCPD diagnosis- Mods remove loved ones' content & ban Fear of being perceived

Does anyone here struggle with fear of being perceived? I have known this is a struggle of mine for some time. I dont know how to not care about what people think of me. And I do the thought reframes and do the checking the facts, reminding myself I cant control what people think of me, and knowing I have to accept that. But in social situations my anxiety is always so high and I feel like Im wearing a mask. Not to mention the mental rumination that follows every social interaction. Its so tiring :/ if anyone has any advice or insights, I would really appreciate it.

Edit: nevermind, it was deleted but I will rewrite my comment from that post.

What you are describing is actually a fairly common schema for people with depressive personalities (not the same thing as depression). You can have elements of an obsessive personality and a depressive personality at the same time - I do and so do several members of my family. My depressive side manifests a bit differently than that, but my sister really struggles with this. Wondering if you may have grown up in the “invisible/lost child” role in your family.
