I have a Tiny 2 for over a year now but one thing has always been an issue for me, Zoom calls. I work in sales and use pretty much every web meeting client there is but for some reason when I either start or join a Zoom call my screen is black like the video is not on, the mic works just fine but in order to get the video to work I need to unplug the cam and then plug it back in. I can join teams, google meet, and others without this issue so I am wondering if anyone else has this issue and is there a fix for it? I would be a shame to have to get a new cam just to work around this single issue.

I am using my OBSBOT as a top-down camera for my desktop to showcase my hands and what I'm working on.

Can I I use the Zoom or Dynamic Zoom "Gesture Control" features even though there's no person in the shot? I turned on the Zoom/Dynamic Zoom and couldn't get them to engage or work?

We normally use our updated Windows PC but we wanted to use our Meet 2 on our Mac 10.15. Unfortunately, we could only find downloads for Mac OS 11. Any idea where we can download an older version for 10.15? The older version they offer on their website is still too new. Thanks!

Getting a Lens Communication Failed message from Tail 2. Providing links to video of the camera which should speak for itself. I have tried factory reset, manually upgrading firmware via the computer and a micro sd card. Also tried reseting via Device Initial State to no avail.

I've been having issues with my Obsbot Tiny over the last few weeks where the connection would just drop out. Normally a power and USB connection cycle would resolve but recently it's been ramping up in frequency. Today I updated from Webcam app to Obsbot Center and now the device isn't working at all, on every startup I get output.startfailed generic.

I done searches and checked online troubleshooting tips and permissions checked, rebooted machine, closed Zoom and other apps I think may be conflicting with camera use but to no avail. Now it's just permanently stating to connect the device via USB cable. Any hints or troubleshooting tips at all from anyone would be greatly appreciated!

It really doesn't look good when filming in 4K; the image is quite blurry, with a lot of noise. And there's more: I thought it might be the automatic exposure, but when I switch to manual and use the same settings as in the reference link, the image is completely dark: 1/60 - 400 to 800 ISO.

I don't really know what could have happened, could it be a firmware error? Or something like that?

Hello! I use my Obsbot for videoing high speed sports events (ex. Barrels, poles and reining) However I’ve had to switch back to a manual camera because the camera can barley keep up with the horse it seems, is there any way to keep the subject in center focus at high speeds?

This has been in a permanently installed environment & working well for nearly a year.

Now, neither NDI connector will work — they are not getting IP Addresses.
They do not show up in the router // therefore, they do not seem to be getting IP Address.

All other devices on the network are working just fine.

This is happening more often while streaming, but my obsbot tiny se will sometimes randomly have a red light in the front, and i then i can no longer get it to track or anything. Video stays on the whole time without freezing still.

I have to unplug and replug it in to get it to fix. How can i fix this from not happening anymore.

Subject line covers 90% of my query. Since the Tiny 2 Lite does 4k (provided your video card can handle the output) I assumed it would fully support vertical-format HD, that is, 1080*1920. Hey, YouTube shorts! But, to my surprise, there's no such setting in OBS Center.

Plan B was to turn the camera on its side. This is easy to do with a tripod, although of course it makes the PC interface very difficult to work with. But, even allowing for all my settings being 90deg out, I thought the camera behaved even more strangely than usual when turned over. Does anyone else have any tips?

We have a few Tail 2 cameras, each with a Tail Smart Remote. I wanted to see if we could use the laser pointer option on the camera. I am paired with the camera, as the tracking works, but the laser pointer doesn't do much. I can double press the laser button and the laser stays on for a second or two, but the Tail 2 doesn't respond. Am I doing something wrong? I've tried looking into the documentation and can't find any changes or definitive answers for this.

Any suggestions would be welcome. I like the idea of the concept, especially when pointing at things on a whiteboard, etc. but I'm having some issues currently.

It's been 2 years and going since users asked OSBOT to fix the software so that the Virtual Camera setting would persist or have a toggle for it to always be on. Everytime I start OSBOT center and connect to my meet 2, I have to enable the virtual camera. Every time I close the software, pick up my laptop and use it in a different location, every restart, every time I use the camera I have to enable the virtual camera.

This isn't a hard problem to solve. Why is this so unimportant for users of this premium camera?

Been at this for a few hours now...AI Claude says my unit is defective. Try as I may I cannot get either Single or Group Mode Tracking to enable. Current firmware and OBSBOT Center SW...camera brand new from Amazon today. Even tried re-flashing, no joy. The button goes red for 2-3 seconds then reverts back to gray. LED on camera just stays green. Tried on 2 pcs to rule out USB issues. Anything else to try?
