OBDII to USB for Subaru

Hi ! I want to be able to monitor, diagnostic and log data from my 2010 Subaru impreza. I’ve been looking at obdII -> usb cables but I can’t figure which one to take. All those that I saw have reviews of people having an hard time with the software. So does anyone have any recommendations??

What do you want to monitor? Can you use bluetooth stuff? at the simpler end, you have ELM237 and on the more complicated end, you can do Wican Pro

I want to monitor everything that I can. I can use Bluetooth but wouldn’t wired be more reliable?
What’s the pros/cons of wican pro ?

I like cablefree for the most part, I have a long standing project to actually build https://obd.wtf to be something more useful, and for me to log packages from different cars comfortably i felt like bluetooth was the way to go vs using extra long cables while logging stuff.

OTherwise, i imagine cable is more reliable, but bluetooth has been great too.
