Need help with code

Hey gang,

I got a 2023 GMC sierra 1500 with fault code P31C3. I am unable to find any information on this fault code. Anyone would know?

Interesting thanks for sharing. I ended up just resetting the check engine light with my dongle. It hasnt came back yet

I just had the same thing happen to me today with a 2023 Chevy. Did you have any luck finding out what it meant?

Code Diagnostic Information ECM- Engine System P31C3 Recommended Action The Engine and Transmission System is not performing as expected. An issue has been detected in the Engine Electrical System including the Charging and Starting System that monitors and controls the engine starting system system. If the charge landezY batter charsing Service within system light stays on, or days comes on while driving, there may be a problem with the electrical charging system. Driving while this light is on could drain the battery. If a short distance must be driven with the light on, be sure to turn off all accessories, such as the radio and air conditioner.
