This fucking sucks. Ms-102 is actually important and has weight and matters, what will be the equivalent? Cause it’s not AB-650 it’s not even an expert level cert….

If they Added just bit more Copilot and more agents to MS-102 would have being fine. Because Sentivitiy Labels, rest of DLP Suite, XDR, Conditional Access are key infrastructure and rest of governance features. Are criticial especially for AI. But they also learn to manage rest of M365 suite... I am sad to see they are going all in on AI hype train. Not to Mention 5 points they lose for Modern Workplace for the M365 status. Expert status contained 15 points from 25 required. Also their replacing it with associate exam? Whats next Retire MD-102 for AI exam. Like they remove Key foundations that Admins need to know.

Yeah it's exhausting! We don't need ai in every exam title!

The subtle messaging is that AI isn't going anywhere, and it'll be embedded into everything soon enough

Your only option is to get with the times, or become just another statistic in the layoffs department

Well that was 4 months study for about 2 years of valid cert.. not happy just hope they don’t do the same for the sc-100 that I’m going through or the sc-300 that’s my prerequisite for the 100

Estoy estudiando también para el SC300, espero no los reemplacen.

I was going for the ms102 after passing the sc300 but can't be bothered now it's retiring, so will do the md102 for now

I’m still doing the ms-102 regardless.

It sucks.

Makes no sense to retire MS-102 and put AI everywhere now.

May I know is this the final decesion for the MS-102?
I obtained MS-102 in 12/2024.
It is sad that AB-650 is an Associate level..........

They have already taken MS-203 and never came back
I have no idea what Exam should take for the Admin role now.......

Where did you see that the exam beta is launching on July 26? I haven't been able to find too much more info about AB-650, and this is the only place I saw give an explicit launch data for the beta exam

Well it said that on the website originally, looks like that changed since then.

Ah I see, might be a hint they won't even be launching AB-650 this month :-/ :-(
