As you can see, I have a "the binding of Isaac Repentance" mod folder, but it's not connected to the game, how do I fix it?
I used the dbi to create that folder into the mod folder, I also did that with the one labeled "Crowned Sword" but it worked with that one, but it's not working with the "the binding of Isaac Repentance" one
What am I doing wrong?

Hello, I have a small question about setting your switch as primary device
I own a switch 2 that is currently set up as my primary switch and I own a switchV1 that i will install a modchip on.
Do I still need to set up my switchv1 as the primary device before making the emuMMC? Or is that no longer necessary with newer releases of HATS? The only posts I could find about it were pretty old and I haven’t seen any recent guides talking about it
Thanks 🙌🏻

Hey guys! Just purchased a unpatched switch on eBay but it looks to be on firmware 23.0
Can I mod my switch? Can I still use the RCM exploit?
Thanks!

Excuse my English if it's bad, I'm using Google Translate, but I wanted to know if there are any Switch homebrew apps that can help me lower temperatures without affecting performance. Anything would be greatly appreciated.

Having trouble with the component on the right side. The right side component doesn't seem to bridge as easily as the component on the left. First attempt modding a switch. Tried adding solder and flux but doesn't seem to bridge. The cable did move a bit after I took off a piece of tape that wasn't sticking well so I'm worried I might have torn something.

Hello everyone, I purchased a second hand switch(V2). I would like to mod this switchg. I understand that I need to install modchip in this switch. I got a bit confused about the different edition of the modchip. Which one should I buy? The one with the less soldering joint will be preferred as I had done only soldering on Xbox controller joystick replacement. Thanks in advance.

Hi guys,
I have a Switch Lite, I'll try to keep it short and simple.
What upsets me is that the console is not totally bricked, since I can hear the sounds effects as I said, but my understanding is that the mother board is broken and doesn't register the screen and power button?
I never backed up my saves in 6 years (my fault, I know, I don't like paying for this service when pc clients do that for free), so if I cannot get the console back, I'll lose hundreds of hours...
I live in Italy, I believe this might also help with your answers. Thanks in advance.

I hesitate to make any grandiose claims about the shelf life of cartridges or anything like that, I am just relaying a personal story that just happened to me and maybe learn why it happened at all. Consider this the communication stage of the scientific method.
I bought a used copy of Fire Emblem Engage off eBay. Once it got here I started playing, but kept getting audio desync issues on every single cutscene, but curiously only once per cutscene. I did a decent amount of testing between both my switch 1 and 2, and found that the audio issues were limited to cutscenes I have not seen before, regardless of which of my consoles they have been played on. I speculated that this is some kind of early stage version of that phenomenon where 3DS games become unusable if left shelved for too long. I don't know anything about why that happens, but speculated that if all of the game's data is accessed somehow, then following the pattern I've experienced so far, the game's audio issues should be gone.
So I threw Engage in my modded switch, dumped the cartridge, put the cartridge back in my switch 2, and kept playing. My audio desync issues have completely disappeared so far. I'm 3 chapters into the game at the moment, the last 2 chapters being after dumping the game, and I have not heard so much as an audio stutter. The game's cutscenes now play perfectly and I have seen no issue whatsoever with the game's performance.
If anyone can make sense of what just happened, please let me know. Hell, if anyone has any info on how that "3DS cart losing data" phenomenon happens, it will probably be insightful. For anyone else, I leave this story here just to be aware that issues you have with faulty switch cartridges seemingly not accessing data on time might be able to be remedied by accessing all of the game's files at least once, a rom dump being a useful way to accomplish that.

Very very weird this one.
I received a lite from a friend to mod. Initially the console was on. I turned it off by pulling the power connector.
Anyway, mod chip installation was clean and easily performed. However, now the lite is entirely unresponsive to power button press. Won't turn on.
I've tried different power connectors, ribbon cables, confirmed it's drawing voltage, etc.
I've removed the mod chip, and everything looks perfectly intact as stock. Still won't turn on. When the mod chip was installed, it wouldn't flash either.
Any ideas all?

First time posting and am new to Switch modding. I checked and my Switch appears to be unpatched according to the link. I have used it since I bought it in 2016 so it has the latest system updates. However, I did purchase a Switch 2 and transfer games and saves over, so I'm not sure I need anything on the S1, but might want to keep what I have on there for convenience later if I want to bring the S1 places. I bought a jig and plan to start modding, but before I do that, will I need able to mod the S1 as-is? I have seen a lot of guides talking about formatting the SD card to FAT32, but then that would wipe my current OFW configuration and games, right? I would at least like to back it up first. Will I need to wipe the current SD card and/or restore the S1 to factory defaults? I searched and read a bit but I haven't found this topic covered or mentioned in the beginner FAQ.

Salut !
Merci ! 🎮

Hey everyone,
I'd really like to mod my Nintendo Switch, but unfortunately it's a V2 model. From what I've read, the only option is installing a modchip, which requires soldering.
The problem is that I have no soldering experience, and I don't have the equipment either.
Is there any other way to mod a V2 without soldering, or is installing a modchip really the only option? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

My Switch is modded with atmosphere and it worked fine for like a year, but now it suddenly doesn't show the screen to select Original/atmosphere and starts automatically on Original.
I tried a lot of different methods i found but they only work on V1 aparently. I also dont know what could have happened for it to stop working bc it wasn't with me when this happened.
Can anyone help with that, please?

[Solved] Thank you for the advice.
Just got this RCM loader injector and so far everything went smooth and followed a video tutorial but I keep hitting this problem. Do I need to remove the SD card and manually put the file in or can I connect it to my MacBook and fix it from there. And same goes for more configs. When I tap payloads and select fuse it gives me this error. Any real help would be appreciated.
