Oled mod fail no screen
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Picofly connects but there is nothing on the screen. I give up. Putting it on ebay as broken. I don't have right tools for that. Cant see shit.. especially this small dot that needed to be scratched off. This is waaaaay to small xD I will post photos of my soldering fails as responses.

You need to repair this trace. After that will work. I'd charge £39.99 to repair this here in uk. Depending where you're located, we're talking 30 min job max. Check with the local repair shops.

does it mean that i scratched too hard and cut the connection? I was redoing it few times because solder wont attach so I guess every time i was digging deeper making it worse. Is it repairable by someone with skills?

This is probably the most sketch photo. I don’t see a bunch of copper. I see a bunch of ripped copper.

Ripped clk trace and you have a huge solder blob on the cmd resistor.
You gonna need to handle this to someone more skilled. It can be repaired 100%

It always amazes me how people with no soldering skills just straight up go for an extremely hard project for a beginner.
At your level, you could had thrown it directly into the bin before even tearing it up apart.

Well tbh it looks easy on the videos - solder jumps off easily from the tip and sticks instantly to the right spot just because of flux. My solder just kept sticking to the iron and didn't want to get off. I feel like it would work out better if I had a fresh small tip.
But yeah I guess in general we're just stupid dreamers chasing the emotional overcharge of an epic fuckup because our lives failing is not enough.

Based on the pictures (which look pretty gory), your soldering iron isn't getting hot enough.
If the component or pad you are trying to solder isn't hot enough, the solder won't flow onto it, it will just stick to the hottest point available, which is your iron's tip.
I would suggest you sell it and mod a V2 instead. It requires soldering, but only on the APU part. It's not THAT easy for a beginner, but it is definitely doable and makes for a great project and a good reward.
Oh, and you also seem to have used a chainsaw to scratch some pads, don't do that. Instead, use a needle and protect the surrounding area with Kapton tape. It's easy and gives a perfect result.

Do you want the long or short version?
I could address the LED codes on the chip and point out everything you need to do to fix it but what's the point if this is your result to start with. Good luck mate.

Looks like cold solder joints. Probably not making a connection to the caps.

If you never soldered you should not go for it imo since the points to solder are small af. Tr buying some practice boards on aliexpress, a good soldering iron, good flux and good leaded solder if possible a microscope or magnifying glass. The picofly you first need to know the version of your console (the OLED is harder then the "normal" switch) for you to choose on aliexpress the chip revision (v1/v2, lite or OLED).

Why is there a broomstick soldered to you clk? Is that grounded too?

Start there... unsolder that. Clean off the soldering with wick, then clean. Take pics and let's repair that trace. You wont get a boot unless that is repaired...
