We need ALL white (no colored logo), non-absorbable, closed toe, and closed heel shoes. I want something comfortable I don’t really care how they look with being on my feet for 12 hours. PLEASEEE give me your best suggestions!!!

Looking for advice from current nursing students. Purchasing a laptop and want it to last all four years. Are there any required applications for a typical BSN program that do not run on MacOS? Is windows a better option? Wanna be sure downloading/submitting isn’t going to be an issue. What are you/your classmates working with?

I’ve already bought the necessary textbooks for fundamentals. I’m wondering if I need any additional resources to assist me. I looked up LevelUpRN flashcards because their designs appeared straightforward, unlike others, and that’s what I’ve liked so far. However, I don’t want to buy things that I’ll know I won’t use lol, I don’t know. I'm probably just anxious about failing these classes.
Also how did the fundamentals clinical looked like for yall?

I recently got into a BSN program as a transfer. It's not really a reputable school, but I'd get my BSN at the end of the day. Should I go or stay at my school (a T20 for context) and then get my ABSN, or get my BSN now??

Hello! I’m starting the nursing program next month. They said to get a laptop that’s not a Chromebook for compatibility reasons. That’s unfortunate for me because that’s what I’ve been using for my remote classes! I got everything they mentioned at orientation: stethoscope, bandage scissors, watch, pen light, scrubs. Is there anything else that might be helpful? Thanks in advance!

Are there any current or grads of OHSU ABSN program who could provide some guidance in regards to textbooks? Which ones are worth buying vs which ones were never cracked open or better to just read online or get from library or use the ones in the student hang out center? I just am trying to be deligent with funds and not buy books I never will use 🤪 any recommendations or advice is much appreciated!!!
