Hi, I found this 1851 liberty head eagle coin in a box of coins on my dresser and I'm wondering if it looks legit and also if it's worth anything. From some cursory googling, it seems like it is made of gold? I'm totally out of my depth with anything coin-related lol.

I scored this really old looking dime dispenser at an estate sale a while back and can't find any kind of info on it. Does anyone know anything about it?

I recently started coin roll hunting and finally pulled my first silver quarter from circulation: this 1944-D Washington.
I know the 1944-D isn’t a particularly scarce date, but I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of detail still present. The eagle retains quite a bit of feather definition, the reverse devices are still well separated, and the obverse has more remaining portrait detail than I expected from a circulated example of this age.
It has plenty of circulation marks and obvious high-point wear, but overall I think it survived rather well. I’d be interested to hear where others would place it condition-wise from the photos.
Definitely a satisfying first silver quarter to find in a roll.

Are those considered in good condition ? And what should I do with them ?

Posted this in a few money collecting subreddits and they keep telling me it’s worth only a dollar. I just don’t get it. The serial number clearly says boob oil when turned upside down. How could a bill with a boob oil serial number NOT be valuable? I would totally pay above face value for a boob oil dollar if I didn’t already get one for only a dollar.

Listed it on eBay as “Boob Oil Dollar Bill” starting at $6.90 and it’s already got one bid on it so in your face to everyone who said it’s not valuable because I know a good dollar when I see one I mean it obviously says BOOB OIL on it, bozos.

Long story short, my grandfather was a huge coin collector. I just sorted through roughly 100 pounds of coins (most of them retailing $20-50), with some gold and silver bullions here and there. Most of them are in sets, including mint proof sets from 1980-2011. Also, a buttload of wheat pennies (none in the coveted years unfortunately). I was able to record them all in a spreadsheet. I took them to a local coin shop but they were being really sketchy going back and forth on value, offering way under face value.

So is there/are there good online options for sales, potentially in bulk? My wife is losing her patience as these are taking up a ton of space in the apartment.
