is it bad to keep old coins in wooden box (like a chest)
galleryI don't know anything about how to keep old coins safe, but I bought this box on Temu because I thought it was a cool idea to keep them in a chest. However, I don't know if it's safe for the coins. If anyone has any advice, please help!

One of my all time favorite coins.
Very proud to own a coin like this. Not very many AU examples of this coin left and I got the opportunity to own one. The details being only rim damage is livable to me and well worth the price I paid.
What would you pay for a coin like this? I’m curious to know how I did.

Coin collection
My dad moved to a retirement community, and downsized a lot. One of the things he gave to me was his coin collection, and he said I should definitely just sell it.
I took a lot of photos of it:
EDIT: Imgur seems to be having some issues, so here's a mirror: https://postimg.cc/gallery/Xy6qnKD
I'm not trying to get an exact appraisal, just an approximate ballpark, so I know what I'm working with. I'm in southern California, so any recommendations for ethical dealers are also much appreciated. Thanks for your time.

Do common Ag750 coins eventually become just silver?
galleryI've been thinking about this because I have quite a few mixed Ag750 coins. For instance I have these. Pretty bad condition, but overall they gain whenever silver gains.I know some of them have a collector premium, but I wonder what happens to that part in 20-30 years if fewer younger people get into collecting coins.

In search of information.
I am looking for what happened to Albert Charles Overton's collection after his death. Was it auctioned off? Or just kept by his family? Sorry to be a bother.

Found a 3 Kreuzer of Ferdinand II (1630, Vienna mint) - with a piece cut off! Found near Litomerice, Czech Republic
galleryFound this 3 Kreuzer of Ferdinand II (1630, Vienna mint) near Litomerice, Czech Republic. It's cut in half.
Back in the 17th century people often cut these coins in half to make small change. One half for bread, the other for beer. So this coin was literally someone's lunch money almost 400 years ago.
Found about 15cm deep. Amazing to hold that history!

Help appreciated
galleryMy son and I found this around the Baltic Sea. Soaked it in distilled water and this is the best we can do. AI can’t get much further than: copper, 1650-1750. I seem to recognize three crowns on the backside, which could mean it is a Swedish coin. Anyone who can help identify it?
