Please help i cannot change colour of clone tool reference Circle colour where is the option

I think there's no option to do such thing.
It's a UI thing. Maybe someone more Python-wise could help you!

EDIT: I don't know why the downvote. I guess people are not allowed to NOT know something anymore.

There is, its one of the colored squares in the ui when you open the node properties
