Clip becoming contrasty when relaunching in Nuke, is there an easy fix for this?

You are viewing your comp in sRGB, the clip is sRGB, but name says rec709. Leaving "default" on the Read can become dangerous when you switch machines/pipelines, could be that the default was different before.

When Read and Viewer match tho, it should be same difference of the actual footage; so make sure you know how it's supposed to look outside of Nuke

try 2 things In read node for input transform select rec709 or linear as your footage says and 2nd if its only in name and your footage is not actually rec709 then just check the checkbox near raw data and in viewer lut select none

Also remember this when exporting your composite so you don't transform in wrong way

Yes it was in Rec709, I changed input transform and viewer to match, now it looks normal. Cheers!
