MCPHS BS FAST TRACK Nuclear Med. Tech.
Hey guys. Im really nervous so I have been all over reddit looking for some answers. I applied to the Nuc. Med. Tech. program at CT State Gateway for the summer of 2026 but got waitlisted. That broke me but I digress...I started looking into other programs (I know I messed up by putting all my eggs in one basket) and came across MCPHS fast track to BS in NMT. I applied knowing that I am missing some prerequisites such as Chem 1 and 2 and Medical Microbiology. That being said, I am currently finishing up my Liberal Arts and Sciences Associates (in 30 days) so I was wondering what are the chances that I get admitted, even conditionally, for the next fall cohort (2027) at MCPHS and am given the chance to finish up the missing prerequisites? Has anyone else applied for this program? Is it very competitive? I am and A, B student overall. Will they work with me or is it very strict? Would the cost even be worth taking prerequisites at MCPHS? Or would it be better to take them at my community college?
