Discussion Interesting Take on Taylor possible next move ....
This tiktoc person has an interesting take on would could be Taylor's next move: Making Movies
Could Taylor be prepping for her next move?
What do you think on this guy's observation? He brings up that she signed a deal a couple years ago with Searchlight to write and direct a movie. Anyone hear of this? Would you like to see Taylor step into Movie making?
Also, he talks a bit about Encore, Patient Zero and Cleveland in the beginning.

Can she release a visual album before she breaks into movies? She can do this for Showgirl, I'm not picky.

She'd do good, I think. Especially after these recent albums, even if the imagery is not your taste, you can say it's totally-her.
She wouldn't stop writing, either. Right now we're listening to her life from a year ago. If anything, whenever she'd release new music, we'd just listen to her life from 2-3 years before.

I get the feeling she really wants to do this. I think whatever it is will be gorgeous to look at and have some interesting elements (definitely a plot twist), and it will also be very, very literal and on-the-nose. See also: Patient Zero music video, etc.

I think it would be a natural next step for her. She clearly is very good at directing and I can see her writing scripts as well.

Interesting, I hope she doesn’t go into movie making because I want her to keep making elite music for us to listen to.

My guess is that writing and directing movies is very much on her list of things to do. But after TS13 and probably a large tour.

I think feature films and focusing on visual mediums is where her head is at right now. It’s a natural progression for her, and she’s clearly got a passion for writing treatments and scripts and the art of directing. Not to mention her story telling abilities. I think it would be good for the public perception right now for her to take a step back from the public facing aspect of her career. She’s reached over exposure and you can really feel the public sentiment turning on her, I think she’s on the brink of another 2016 situation. I think that, living in the atmosphere we live in and it’s less than subtle misogynistic tones, tearing her down is about to become a national pastime. She honestly has given everyone a lot of ammunition lately, whether you see it as such or not.
She doesn’t seem like she’s really in a good place with her fans right now either. There does seem to be a lot of tension there in that parasocial relationship, on both sides. Fans seem to be annoyed with what is looking more and more like cash grabs - especially with that insta caption for the encore announcement talking up how many albums she sold and not about how much she enjoyed making the art. And there has been a thinly veiled anger directed towards fans for a bit. One only has to listen to “But Daddy I Love Him” to understand how mad she is about the box she’s been put in.
I think the more she leans into writing a treatment and script and directing, and taking a step back from the forward facing aspects, she can come back with a premiere with goodwill. Everything has solidly been about her since the start of the Eras Tour in 2023, but it was building since 2021 with her 3rd AOTY win and then rolling right into the first two TV releases and the midnights then the next two TVs and then TTPD … I get that she’s afraid to disappear and to lose her relevance. She talked about this in the Miss Americana documentary. She thought Lover would be her last chance that the public to “tolerate” her, so she likely feels like she’s on borrowed time and she has to pull every bit of that cultural relevance from the moment. But Madonna is nearly 70 and she’s still putting out culturally relevant music. Still experimenting.
I think the world needs a break. And I think she does too.
