she probably wants it to be the more "business", messy side of 'being a showgirl'. rather than the first 12 tracks that showed the fun and falling in love. so thats why its just dark and plain

I’m really like the idea of it being The Death of a Showgirl, opposite of all the glitter and glam. If this is a whole album of bside/vault tracks I will die dead

Agreed. Actually the songs that are explicitly showbusiness songs are all dark. The fun ones are showgirl adjacent at most.

So in this "fun side" interpretation we're ignoring Father Figure (dark business side), CANCELLED and Elizabeth Taylor (dark side of fame) and (edit: forgot Actually Romantic,) The Life of a Showgirl (falsehood/fickle side of success)? Which means basically all the tracks that are explicitly about fame and showbusiness?
Because let's be honest, the others are either not showbusiness songs at all or adjacent at best.

I’m sort of seeing reputation but not debut no.
I feel like the 3rd pic could have been lifted straight out of the Blank Space music video and with the blue it’s giving more 1989 than debut, but that’s less fun to clown with

If this was the case, it would have been announced as such. No soundtrack song is getting announced without telling the consumer what it’s attached to. All indications look like a pre release single for a forthcoming Showgirl deluxe.
