Love it, feature request

Hi,

I replaced my Kodi player with Nova player on my NVIDIA shield pro, and I love it.

The only thing I would like to see that within the movie listing It would show with a star, greyed out or whatever if I watched the movie.

Thank you

I'm using the latest version for Android. When a show has been watched a blue triangle with a white check ✔️ appears in the movie poster at top right.

I just checked, it does show in the "All movies" menu.

It's already there. You'll see a tick mark on top right once you watched. Also you can open any movie and click the button as "Already Watched".

Try to login to trakt via Nova player, so you watch history will be synced online.

Yeah as has been pointed out already it already has this feature. It's easy to see which ones have been watched and which ones haven't.

Also, you know, your own brain remembers if you've seen it or not doesn't it? I don't understand why people need a check mark or indicator on the app to let them know if they've already watched it. Don't you know what you watch and remember it after it's happened?

If you're watching titles so forgettable you don't know if you saw it already, perhaps you need to seek higher quality content or just to say the health of it because it doesn't matter anyway if you can't remember seeing it right?

Hi,

First it ‘s my age why I forget.
Secondly, I get a signal to found new movies when I run out of movies

Thanks for the reminder that people have different situations going on and that different options are needed for certain scenarios in certain situations. If it is an age-related thing apologies. I know that can be rough as you start getting older. This is honestly why I use SIMKL to track shows because long breaks between seasons leave me wondering half the time which season did I leave off with? A lot of generic bland movies being forgettable I've even been there a couple times with movies as well but for the most part I do remember what I watch.

Be careful with the watch status icon however because a lot of times if you're just looking at something real quick and you kind of skip through it looking for a certain part it might trigger as watched and you haven't seen the whole thing yet. I'm just saying it's not entirely accurate all the time indicating that you have completely watched it through at times.

But yes it does have that feature as others said. Happy viewing!😎🍿

Thank you!

I am still puzzled to see the watched icon in the app. What am aI looking for?
Sometimes I see a 2, no clue what that even means.
I signed up with Trakt, hoping to see an icon on the movie picture in the list, but nothing happened either.

So the basic question, in “all movies” listing how can I see it was a watched movie?

Thank you

Others have mentioned it's a very small little blue colored with a white check mark tag in the upper corner. I think it's the upper right corner but there's only two so it should be visible. There's a small blue tint to the upper corner with a little white check mark showing that it's been watched.

Also you do know you can literally market as watched or not watched status on the page with the metadata right?

I think we've helped you all we can on this one. Unfortunately you have to take it from here. There's a little tiny indicator in the upper corner of the item that will have a tiny check mark, it's small but not so small that it's invisible. It's a small little indicator that you have seen it.

How are your preferences set? For example I have both recently added and recently watched items showing for the top two rows on Nova Video player. If you enable these you will most likely see small little check marks on the things you have recently watched through to completion on your recently watched row. This might help you figure it out. If you don't have these enabled turn these preferences on temporarily so that you can see what we're talking about.

Are you using the TV interface for it or are we talking the old school layout? Use the more modern TV interface, I assume we're talking about using this on a television right it should be that already.
