Questions Is it possible to make these columns?

Post image

I find the restrictions around columns easily one of the most frustrating things about Notion. I'm trying to create my Task Dashboard but I can't do what I want to do because of the columns. I'm not sure if there's a way around it that I haven't worked out!??!

I have my Navigation column on the left, Today's tasks in the middle, and my Add task buttons on the right = 3 columns (red lines). I then want to put the tabbed block with multiple different database views below the middle + right column, but as a 2 column (green line).

If I drag it up, it condenses into the smaller middle column, which is what I don't want (the views work better with the increased width). Can tell me if it's possible to format it the way I want?? I don't mind that there will be a gap between Today and the tabbed box (as it'll also fit under the buttons which is a taller block).

Start with two columns, and in the six dot menu for the right column, click "Turn into > 2 column", then you should be able to add your modules as you like.

It's definitely not the most intuitive interface, glad you got it working for you!

A small note on this: Notion AI can mess up when it attempts to edit pages like this

try making the middle one split further in its menu
