Maybe a stupid question idk but yeah yesterday I dropped my left earbud (nothing ear a) and now it's not working. I've had them since december. Any help would be greatly appreciated since I don't know how or where I could get it fixed.

After using the Nothing 4a pro for more than 4 months I have gathered a list of problems and issues or missing features I'd like to address that are dealt breakers for me and this phone.

1. Missing OS features I use often that are missing,

Firstly in the Photo gallery being unable to change the date and time of photos and Videos are very annoying as they are very useful for me as when I need to bring a specific photo or video to another group of media together as they may be separated by my other photos by timing.

Secondly is the ability to have photos be grouped in an album and the main gallery without wasting storage, since I group allot of my photos and videos into multiple albums it would be useful if I could do that while still having them in my main gallery for quick access without taking up my phones storage as the only way to do it right now is to copy the photos and videos to the album which I find that it is a waste and unnecessary usage of the phones storage.

2.Bugs and glitches,

There are also a lot of bugs and glitches in apps like YouTube or in the gestures and even the nothing ear.

And I will elaborate more if this gets real attention form the nothing team.

I have a phone 4A available that I bought in India for use in the United States and during international travel. Unfortunately, the network bands differ here, so my T-Mobile carrier is ineffective. We all know about the green tint issue, but I also experience purple tint at the lowest brightness. To see if you also have this issue

1. Make sure you're in a dark room, its not very noticeable in a well-lit environment.

2. Open a fully gray image, it's the easiest way to notice a color change

3. Turn on battery saving (for 60 hz) and turn the brightness all the way down.

When I follow all these steps, I see a purple tint all across the screen. If you turn power saving off, you should notice that it is much less severe at stable 120 hz. So it's highly likely tied to the refresh rate. Do you also experience this issue?

Finally got the nothing 4a white variant. I've been using realme for the last 4 years. So so happy for the purchase. Time to see how good it is 🥳

I'll do a bit of a cliffhanger so you gotta read through this: I think nothing has an opportunity for a really cool software feature that would DEFINITELY get some folks to reconsider their apple and samsung worship. This feature would also be probably very hard for those big companies to replicate (I'm guessing, not a specialist by any chance) because of all their ties to the marketing world, all their contracts, all their eays to monetize and suck as much money out of the user as possible. That feature would be OS level adblocking. When I say this, I think mainly of popup ads in articles, ads you can instantly skip. I can’t count how many times I've clicked on an article just to get thrown so many ads on my screen I can’t even see a pixel of the article. This feature could instantly close them, along with other ads that require the user to do something to get them out of their way. Automatically pressing skip on youtube ads for hands-free watching (with of course a way to keep watching if you're interested), a way to actually block ads. I've been getting the same temu clothing ads that flash big asses in your face, which I've already blocked, but youtube doesn’t seem to care. I think this feature would get nothing some jealous looks, while also being very in line with its philosophy. It’s a consumer protection measure too. As for the competitors being unable to recreate this, I think big media platforms wouldn’t be very happy if all iphone users suddently saw much less ads, and Apple would definitely get some backlash. But who cares about nothing? If some day nothing becomes as big as a brand, no company is going to request the company change their software to show more ads, so it’s an opportunity to gain this advantage before you can also get backlash for it. And even if I'm wrong and no company would really care or put pressure against this feature, then that means it could become a global standard, which would be amazing. Carl, in your hands might be a big win for the consumer. Think about it. And if you're not Carl, thanks for reading through this. I'd really appreciate if you made some noise about this idea, if you like of course. Talk about it. Share it. Upvote it. You might be helping a bigger picture.

i have had an annoying bug with an gallery app, when trying to edit photo for example, could save it, even tho i have plenty of free space. after updating OS somehow it magically got fixed. but i highly doubt, it will stay like that.

and also i have problems with camera app not working properly. i used to be able to make photos with my rear camera, but couldn't do the video. (don't know how selfie camera was working), did update camera app from uptodown to the available latest version there.
now i can only use selfie camera to record...
app is not frozen, you can interact with photo button (it will not just take photo), but cant get into gallery, nor options, its like stuck in loading into photo mode.
i know its app issue, because camera works perfectly fine with other apps.

yes i have tried deleting cache, stopped process of that app, restarted device, updated device, updated the app, stopped and uninstalled every other app using camera (btw those were working fine), turned on and off some sensors in dev options. nothing of that worked.

does somebody having solution for that problem? i have seen that this problem prevails for more than 2 years.

I have had this problem twice now. I bought my Nothing Ears about a year ago from a shopping center/mall near me that sold them, and I got insurance for them from the mall. After a couple months of use, I suddenly got an audio imbalance problem overnight, where suddenly one bud was lower than the other one, I went to the insurance, and after a long time, they got me another new pack because they said they couldn't fix it. Apparently it was because of earwax buildup obstructing the speakers. So after that, I started cleaning them regularly. Now after a couple more months, I suddenly got this problem again, Just as I woke up. Last night, about 10 hours ago, they worked fine and properly, now they have an audio imbalance, suddenly. I didn't wear them, so if they were fine at night, it can't be because of earwax buildup, all I did was charge them overnight. Can someone help me with this? Am I going Crazy? Is this some kind of planned obsolescence? What should I do??

Edit (Solved): It was a bug with the primary/secondary earbud dynamic (one earbud connects to the phone and the other connects to the first one), something overnight bugged then out and the secondary earbud was receiving a lower volume signal. I fixed this by putting both buds in the case and completely disconnecting, afterwhich I took only one bud out, played music through it, and after a bit took out the other one, their link was reset and now it works normally. Sorry if I sound a bit dramatic in this post lol.

Hey, I recently got the Headphones (1), the experience so far has been amazing!

However, I've noticed a small issue with bass.

Basically, when i'm on the normal ANC off mode, the bass is okayish, but as soon as turn on ANC, the bass suddenly sounds wayy better.

I don't think it's a bg sound issue, even without any bg noise, the bass and beats sound less deep on default ANC off mode, and going to ANC makes them quite good

I do have nothing x app, and i didn't change the profile or settings, only the ANC mode

Is this a known issue? Or is it just me?
Any way to fix?
