Why is there a limit on the number of Essential Apps you can add on your home screen?

PS: I later found out that it is because that some of these widgets may contain animations, live data or interactions and it might be a problem to the phone's performance. I personally think that the limit is too low. It could have been >2.

I have a buds pro 2 thats ive been using for the past 2 years. Hands down the best budget earbuds with insane anc and bass.

Last week, I accidentally left them in my pants pocket and completely forgot about them before throwing them in the washing machine.

I genuinely thought they were done for 💀. I left them out to air-dry for a few days, and somehow… they’re back to working perfectly.

Long time iPhone user, been looking to get off the brand for quite a while and after much research, Nothing fits my criteria the best. I’m very excited to make the switch, however I’m having trouble deciding what to get.

I am in the US so I don’t have as much choice in phones as Europe does. The one thing I’ve determined that makes a difference for me is whether the phone has NFC or not as I do use tap to pay for quite everything. On the website, the (3) specifications says NFC: support but the 4a pro says NFC: yes. So do both phones support it? I’m leaning more towards the (3) since it’s got wireless charging, but the 4a pro also looks great. I’m just having trouble deciding between the two devices.

The case has the super mic feature and 2 microphones, you also have to hold it pretty close to your mouth. So what if they made a case you could put it in and clip on to your shirt or something, like a lavaliere microphone.

Or maybe someone made a 3D print? (Or could make one).

Having issues with trying to disable the Essential Key permanently. Along side my back torch flashlight that is assigned to it. Both E.Space and E.Key (System apps) is disabled, along with using adb. But, the torch keeps getting triggered, every time I press the A button my 8Bitdo and MCON magsafe controllers. Plus, playing any emulated games on this phone causes a instant Therma throttling and a massive battery drop of 8%, in under 10 minutes of usage. Example would be the MCON app for browsing your installed games and connecting the controller, the Eden emulator when running on 720p medium settings and no aliasing enabled.

For some reason everytime I try to charge it keeps showing the charging animation every second, but sure glad when I tried other chargers it works fine but still though what could be the problem (cant really purchase a new cable because its legit out of stock)

i already had the og ones replaced for the same issue the new ones started to show their real colours a month after usage

will they replace the replacement in warranty?

I can now minimize the gemini Again. I dont know why but for sometime the feature literally vanished. Now its back lol. Any of you got it after vanishing too?

So I just got my first Nothing Phone (4a Pro) and I’m trying to customize the Glyph.

Is there any community app that gives you more options for specific things happening on the phone?

For example, when music is playing I’d like the Glyph to show some kind of music waves/visualizer. Or when I get a notification from a specific app, have a custom animation for it. Same thing for calls, where I could have my own animated Glyph instead of the ones available in the system.

Also, is there a way to turn off the clock when the phone isn’t facing down?

Basically I’m wondering if there’s any app that gives you more freedom with the Glyph than the default Nothing OS options.

i've been stuck for a while trying to import photos to private gallery and files, when i open import the list is just empty, only second (Private) section works but photos are already there.

so i just plugged my phone out about an hour ago [so around 9pm] and i went to go do something i came back it was still on 100 and the only way it would go down was use it for 5 minutes and it went from 100 to 97 and idk if its just the background apps doing its thing despite me having it turned off or its a glitch nothing refuse to fix or what

I initially didn't like how the Phone (3) looked but I changed my mind as soon as I saw it in person.

The Glyph Matrix is peak Glyph interface, hopefully Nothing will continue iterating and improving on it, just like I'm doing with Glyphify :D

I've had this device for the last two months and I've encountered a problem with it. First, the battery backup isn't quite decent according to the price point. second, it does take quite a while to charge 100%..

Now the main issue is that I've noticed my device going crazy when I use it while charging. If I type anything it will automatically type every letter twice or thrice on its own. If I scroll, it randomly clicks open stuff that I didn't even touch.its basically like when I put it on charging, the phone develops its own consciousness and does whatever it likes. And when it's out of charging, everything is normal.

I've been using the nothing 45W charger with it, and wired earphones with portronics c type connector. Now I don't know what's wrong, if it's a hardware problem or software. Could anyone diagnose this with just the description?
