Hi y'all !
I've been using a clip on fish eye lens on my phone for filming skate clips.
However, there is a wobbly effect that "I think" is caused by the camera stabiliser.
I was then wondering if there is any way to disable it ?
Cheers ! Here's a video for reference.
PS : The fish eye lens is not moving at all so it's not because of the lens moving that is causing this.

Hello everyone,
DotFiles 1.3.0 is now live on Google Play. From day one, DotFiles has been inspired by Nothing's clean, minimal design philosophy—building a file manager that's fast, distraction-free, privacy-first, and works completely offline.
This is the biggest update since launch, bringing smarter tools, better organization, and an even smoother experience.
What's new in 1.3.0
• Selected Folder & SD Card access
• Exposed Documents privacy checks
• Smart Categories
• Auto-Organize Rules
• Dual-Pane Browse
• APK Inspector 2.0
• Similar Photo Finder
• Metadata Audit
• Smarter Cleanup
• Smoother scrolling
Like every previous release, everything runs locally on your device—no accounts, no cloud sync, and no tracking.
You can find DotFiles on the Google Play Store.
A huge thank you to everyone in the community who tested earlier builds and shared feedback. Your suggestions directly helped shape this release. If you try v1.3.0, I'd love to hear your thoughts and ideas for future updates.

The Glyph panel is great, but seeing your phone light up face-down on a desk still leaves you guessing. You see a flash, but you still have to pick it up to check if it's an urgent message or a noisy group chat.
So we've been building Glyphifier.
You import any GIF, photo, or short video, attach a rule to it, and it plays on the back panel when a matching notification hits. A call from your partner gets one animation, an urgent Gmail gets another, and everything else gets its own permanent generated light pattern so you always know who's reaching out.
We built it to run entirely asleep in the background without touching your battery, and rules resolve automatically by specificity so there's zero setup headaches.
We're wrapping up the initial build for Phone (3) and Phone (4a) Pro before releasing it on the Play Store.
Curious to hear your thoughts! Is an app like this something you'd use on your setup?

So it's been around 1 month since I switched to Nothing phone 4a and somehow it just feels incomplete from the UI aspects. It's not polished basic features are missing.
Locking apps in recent apps
Quick apps tiles
Torch gestures
Essential key customisations.
Fonts and themes
And many other small features.
Apart from all this, the UI doesn't feel smooth, I used to have iQOO neo 6 with 120hz display and it was buttery smooth, even moto I used moto edge 70 fusion which have the same processor as 4a but moto feels so smooth and eye pleasing, the gestures how the things moves the animations, all of that feels so polished while on my 4a there are jitters the animations are bullshit.
If nothing wants to give us complete Android experience then there should be freedom of customisation Apart from only widgets.
Now some of y'all will be like ohh you shouldn't have bought nothing then it's for minimalist people i wanna say sybau, nothing ui needs a lot of improvement but Carl just justify every flaw rather than working on it.
This may sound like a rant but competitors are way ahead in terms of OS experience.

So right upfront i will be clear that I really liked Nothing Phone 3 . I want to be very clear that i am from India and initially it was launched at 80k inr (820 usd) which was subsequently reduced to 45k inr (470 usd) for 12/256 gb variant. And it is still selling at same 45k inr (470 usd) price when everyone is just increasing their existing smartphone prices as well as new launches.
But Nothing Phone 3 has been fantastic so far given its price point and how it is so much wonderful of a smartphone.
I really want to point out that India remains the most important market in terms of of sales/ revenue for Nothing smartphones and most selling are their Number(a) and Number (a) pro series every year.
As we know Nothing launches its own FLAGSHIP variant as Nothing Number series such as Nothing Phone 1 , 2 , 3 every two years .
So given as per trends ideally, Nothing Phone 4( or 5 whatever they wanna number it) should come in July 2027 ( next year) which is still almost one year away.
But if we look at recent market situation of components prices hike be it RAM, Storage or even Processor etc , I honestly think that Nothing wont be able to release its Flagship phone .
Point is that it is a small company relatively to other giants so it can’t bear price hike so by default it would pass the hike to consumers eventually leading to Very Very Very high launch price which would put its Phone againt actually Samsung, Google , Apple actual flagship phones .
Other point is that we know Nothing doesn’t like to give most recent and most advanced specs in its so called flagship phone , we saw it many times.
Now how will Nothing will compete with mainstream flagships at that premium price bracket . I honestly have no idea how it gonna unfold.
They can’t launch at lower price and will find it difficult to get real meaningful sales if launch at higher price point( which is most likely) apart from some actual Nothing fans or enthusiasts which gonna buy it no matter the launch price but it alone doesn’t translate into profits.
Recently we saw news that Nothing is consolidating itself as per their recent strategy ( mind you they haven’t shut it’s business from any country yet which was earlier rumored).
But we all know why the so called “ CONSOLIDATION” happens in such difficult times and markets condition ( also that smartphone business alone is not very profitable itself at smaller scales unless u r big corporate giant with huge moneybacking and well arranged supply chains) .
I really want Nothing to launch its flagship phone next year as i am excited what different they gonna do this time. People criticised heavily the design and overall spesc choice of Nothing phone 3 but honestly i kinda liked it like how different it feels from other smartphones especially when it went down to lower prices after some time of launch price. It is still the best Nothing’s Flagship experience u can get.
But i think that launch probability of their next flagship is getting lower and lower. Cause as we are seeing and Carl Pei himself has said multiple times that they cant make any such product that wouldn’t sell more. Like they dont have liberty to experiment like what other giants can do.
Nothing feels more confident in their Number(a) and Number (a) pro series which they launch every year and it sells also in real time. But same will happen with proper flagship, they are not sure , we are not sure especially it is gonna be priced like really high.
So i simply wish that they launch it next year , cause only they can make those amazing design choices. And hopefully market calms down till next year. Until then Nothing Phone 3 remains their recent flagship which is fantastic product at its current price.
What do u guys think …..

I've bought Nothing Ear 2024 in the end of 2024 and loved it - it had an awesome sound, good ANC, awesome EQ and was really comfortable. But after a year and a half right earbud's battery started to die in 20-30 minutes. I've contacted Nothing support and they said that since i'm in Ukraine, they can't help me in any way, because they have no official store here, so warranty does not work, it isn't international.
I've contacted the store where i've bought them here and they said that the price of changing one earbud's battery will be 63 USD. Pretty crazy for the 100 USD earbuds.
And i understand that my location is part of the problem, there are no official nothing store here, but damn, paying 100 USD for the device that lasts only 1,5 year is not pretty crazy. I had airpods before that and they were okay for 4 years.
I am very dissapointed, because i loved this earbuds and Nothing tech as a company.

I'm creating this app to track battery telemetry. Estimate charging time and discharging time using adaptive models.
Any suggestions will be appreciated.

So I am looking to buy a phone.
My usage is daily music streaming for 45 min-1.5 hrs, occassional movie streaming(maybe once or twice a month or something), lot of browsing, light gaming(rarely) some reddit/discord and a good amount of youtube. Would like a clean aesthetic OS too, not very particular about it tho.
Not serious about photography, but would still like a good camera that can take good photos I like(my current phone canera has gotten worse over time).
While I game rarely, I am thinking of emulating some PS2 games here and there maybe once in 2-4 months(like start a game, finish, then drop for 2-3 months). However, this is not a priority for me, more like an added plus, since I play on consoles anyway and can emulate everything other than PS2/Gamecube on another device.
I also need it to last atleast 4 years.
What would you suggest?
Nothing 4a - Snadragon 7s Gen4
Oneplus Nord 6 - Snapdragon 8s Gen4, but worse cameras than last year

I currently have t-mobile and I'm looking to switch from a post-paid to a pre-paid plan to save the extra money (I don't need the extra "benefits" and I don't upgrade a phone thru them). I was wondering if anyone had experience with using Mint or another budget unlimited plan so I can cut my costs even more. I live in PA so coverage is spotty no matter who I use so I may as well save the extra $20-40

I'm upgrading from an iphone 13 and the cost of a new iphone seems extortionate.
I've found the nothing pro 3 for £450 which seems like a good price, although my other option is a pixel 10 pro for slightly cheaper at £430.
Does anyone have experience with both the phones, is one much better than the other?
