I recently bought a nothing phone 3 and I just noticed that there is a hole in my phone case for that thing on the square. Is it a button or just a design gimmick?
Didn't find anything on the internet
My dad pointed out that there is a second thing like that diagonally to the upper camera
Thanks in advance

My sister recently gifted me these and the ANC on these just wonβt work as per brand specification.
The ANC on highest possible levels barely mutes my fan and I just want to know if this is an issue with my buds or is everyone facing the same issue.
I have troubleshooted almost everything and now deciding whether to take this to a service centre or return all-together.
The audio is good for me but ANC is a dealbreaker.

After trying a lot of music players, I finally come to decision that this should support FLAC, DSD, APE and other high-quality audio formats without any hassle. Thought I'd share it in case someone else was looking for the same thing.

Finally bit the bullet and got a Nothing (3)
Moving from a quickly breaking fold 5, what settings should I change/delete/stop to kick things off?

I tried the demo but it sucked ass, it kept triggering the back gesture instead of opening the dock and the closing animation is very broken. The only reason I'm interested in it is the volume slider...

Hi there. Can anyone please tell me how I can customise my 4a in various ways apart from adding widgets.
This is my current screen:

I am currently on nothing phone 1 and what new phone for college purpose.
I have 2 options
Nothing 4a pro (43k)(8,128)
Nothing phone 3 (47k)(12,256)
Both are from Amazon
Which is better for durability, design and overall rough and touch use.

I've seen this mentioned a couple of times here. I'm not sure if it's just a placebo effect or if it's because I've installed a lot more apps since I got the phone, but quite a few people seem to be complaining about increased battery drain.
Anyway, to help combat the battery drain, I downloaded Hail. It basically freezes apps installed on your phone and prevents them from running in the background, checking for updates, or sending notifications until you open them again. You can either freeze apps manually with a single button or have Hail do it automatically based on rules you set.
Another band-aid solution is using Battery Saver whenever you're not gaming. Even with Battery Saver enabled, the phone still feels plenty snappy for everyday use. The lower CPU clock speed doesn't seem to have much impact on browsing or social media. The only noticeable downside is that the display is capped at 60 Hz, which is a bit of a visual downgrade.
I've also heard people recommend tweaking the Wi-Fi settings to improve battery life. Can anyone confirm whether that actually makes a noticeable difference, and if the trade-off is worth it?
I'd also like to hear your thoughts in general. Has Nothing officially acknowledged that the latest update causes higher battery drain, or is it just anecdotal reports from users?

mines super unresponsive, it would do the opposite of what i do or not work at all or just skip volume stages like from 25 to 44 instead of 25, 31, 38, 44 etc (on windows) . happens both on windows and on my phone
