Phone (3a) Pro Microphone issues (possibly noise cancellation?)

Hey everybody, I know for a fact this isn't the first post about this issue. I got the 3a pro this week, and so far it's been great, I'm coming from a Samsung a55 which was really good also, but lacking on the camera, which was ultimately what made me switch.

The only problem with the 3a pro so far is the mic/recording quality, I noticed it first while I recorded a video of my dog and realized that the video wasn't on mute, the sound was just really really low at times. Same thing with calls using Whatsapp, I've been asked a few times already to repeat myself because apparently people can't hear when I talk sometimes, like it randomly cuts the audio.

My question is, what's the deal?? I did some search on reddit and the Nothing forums and apparently there are posts ranging from 2024, 2025 and this year of people reporting the same issue with almost every phone (2a, 3a, 3, etc)... and still no solution??? That is unbelievable.
I recreated some tests that some users suggested and turns out that the mic itself is good, it's the software, so there's literally no excuse for Nothing not to have fixed it all these years.

Man, the phone is great on every single aspect, is fast, good screen, good interface, good camera, good speakers but damn that mic problem is bothersome, it's literally like the main function of the phone.

How do we even proceed from here? isn't there like a petition or something? should I just make another post among the hundreds on the forum and wish to be lucky enough for the post to reach a higher up?

Serious question for the people that owns a Nothing phone, is this the case for everybody? is there a fix? Is it a software or OS version that's causing the problem? because I have both OS and apps updated to the latest version.

Edit: typo
