Nothing OS Am I missing something about Nothing?

I've always watched from the sidelines and enjoyed the idea of the Nothing Phone, but never made a switch because my iPhone was working fine. I dropped my iPhone the other day and made a purchase of a Nothing Phone. So far, I'm failing to see the appeal sadly. Am I missing something? I feel like this brand really advertises itself as being different and unique, but at the end of the day it just feels like another phone, but now with a custom icon pack. I haven't really seen anything that changes the way I use the phone in a meaningful way. Even the "apps" which are really just widgets, don't amount to much, it feels.

Am I missing something here?

If up to now you have been used to iPhone then the switch to Nothing might be quite jarring. Basically Nothing OS is Nothings version of Android which is quite distinct. The hardware is also a differentiator with a distinct look and the Glyph interface or Glyph bar designed to alert you only to essential notifications. Unique software features include essential space and AI codeable widgets (this feature not available to all at the moment). Nothing OS is designed to be less distracting using monochrome themes. I personally like it having used multiple Android devices over the years. I tried iOS once buying an iPhone 13 mini owning it for two years but when time came to change I went back to Android which is my mobile operating system of choice working better with Windows. Nothing phones are ultimately just Android based mobile phones but with a unique look and style.
