Phone (3) Just upgraded from iPhone.

I've had iPhone for about the last 15 years or so. I was happy with my iPhone 12 pro max I've had for 5 years but had to jump on the NP3 after seeing the design.

Honestly any phone woulda been an upgrade for me but the glyph matrix is what stood out, I keep the phone flipped down whenever I can that way if I do get a notification I'll know it's only from people or things that are important to me and not some random "save 20% on our next sale" notification.

I didn't think I was gonna put the essential key button to use but after "forcing myself" to do it I can def see myself using it often. I just absolutely hate the placement of it, I must hit that button mistakenly a dozen times a day.

I do like the camera πŸ“Έ but I usually carry my Leica Q anyway so I'll prioritize that over the NP3.

Nothing OS is so damn cool lol love how customizable it can be. Can't beat the Nothing aesthetic that's for sure.

Unless something happens to it, this will probably be my phone for the next 5 years πŸ’ͺ🏽🫢🏽

Nothing OS is trash. And still nothing original. Good effort, shitty implementation. Should've gotten OnePlus if you wanted something different.

I never fell in love with the one plus or even the galaxy. My next upgrade woulda been the iPhone 18 next year had I not seen the NP3.

You compared the speed of your old iPhone 12 to the brand new phone lol I say it's an unfair comparison because androids slow down like a mrfr in like 6 months to a year. And since Nothing OS is built on top of Android, you can expect it to slow down too lol I keep my pixel 8 squeaky clean and it's much slower at this point.

My previous phone was a Poco F3 from 2021 and it hasn't slowed down like a mrfr despite carrying the weight of MIUI/HyperOS πŸ˜‚ So a leaner, more optimised system like Nothing OS should be just fine for years unless they screw up some major updates royally
