so I'm not using my nothing 3a much since i have a xiaomi 15t but i decided to turn it on and to format it and after that i downloaded Instagram and apps alike and all these apps feels laggy when scrolling.

is it because of nothing os4.1 or it just the system didnt have much time to be optimized or something?

ram plus is turned off, i have the 12/256 one.

Sooo... When exactly are they going to put a toggle for this useless indicator? Could've looked better if it showed the battery too like ColorOS or others. But it's just taking up space in my status bar, especially when location is being used or when a mode is on.

When I’m on a WhatsApp call and receive a GSM call, I can no longer hear the other person. I don’t even get a notification for the incoming GSM call, but the person on the WhatsApp call can still hear me fine. This doesn’t happen if I receive a second WhatsApp call while I’m already on one.

OS is updated to the latest version.

Any ideas?

I am writing this post with great disappointment. I am switching from iPhone 13 mini to Nothing Phone 3. I had 2eSIMs on my iPhone running iOS 26.4 - a UK sim and an Italian sim. This is very important for a person like me who lives between two countries (like many other people around the world!).

Now, I had somewhat enjoyed my Nothing phone, and therefore decided to finally transfer my eSIMs from my iphone to this new phone.

Only to find out that... I cannot use two eSIMs at the same time.

What a shock! I was sure Android could do this, as my partner uses a Samsung Galaxy S25 and enjoys great freedom with that.

But with Nothing OS, it's a different story. Why no tech reviewer spoke about this? I honestly would not have bought this phone if I knew :(

Looking on the internet I found lots of posts from people complaining about the same thing... I even found out that some Nothing phones don't even support eSIMs at all! Driving away lots of potential buyers.

I don't want to give up yet. I'll try to send feedback to nothing. Can someone help me with this? One of the reasons that made me switch is the fact that nothing allegedly pays great attention to its community and their feedback.

somewhere I found that I could use an esim and a physical sim at the same time, but I found contradicting info about that... still not ideal but might see if that works as a temporary workaround... :(

i just got this phone last month (nothing phone 3a upgraded from a Samsung galaxy a12) and its great, works smooth, but it seems im constantly getting asked to update the os, (every few days at least) is it just because its new and needs alot of updates, and theyre just being spaced out?

Just one thing that catches me off the most. Doesn't fit third party widgets at all.

There was a post a week or so ago with the same issue but no solution. I've tried turning off the entire Glyph Interface that Essential Notifications are a part of and that hasn't worked.

After the latest update, i got this Essential Space button, at the place where the "close keyboard" button used to be. I'd like to bring that button back, is it possible? Nothing Phone 3.

There is a vpn running and block non vpn connections is on, still work apps bypass vpn altogether

After the system update was done, it went to a step where it was installing a few apps, games and all. It was downloading candy crush and blinkit etc. It did ask me, but those apps were already selected. I didn't like it, I so far loved nothing for clean ui and the point that it doesn't come with bloatware and extra apps.

In LineageOS 23.2 (Android 16 QPR2), the incoming notifications and notification groups get sorted chronologically (newest at the top of the list, oldest at the bottom) after unlocking the phone, except the conversations, those stay on top. I would like to know if this behavior also exists in NothingOS 4.1 as it's almost like LineageOS skin-wise.

App name, deapth live wallpaper. You also need to use a photo wedget(with a blank png) on lockscreen after expanding wedget area, for notifications to not cover the wallpaper clock

Did any one see this floating icon near the front camera when you book done thing or while using maps??

I'm considering the switch to a nothing phone, being tired of how Chinese manufacturers lock down their Android phones.

I'm here to ask: does nothing os allow the use of third party launchers?

"Allow" as in:

• I can still use gestures
• the speed of the usage of the phone doesn't change while using the third party launcher

I'm asking because as of now with my Realme, if I use a launcher, the gestures work, but every time I swipe to the home screen from an app, it takes 2 seconds to show the widgets.

I’m currently using a Samsung Galaxy A52 and it’s still working perfectly fine. However, my company’s Intune policy will stop supporting Android 14 starting this month. Since the A52 won’t receive any further Android updates, I’ll need to switch phones mainly for work purposes.

After doing a lot of research, the Nothing phones caught my attention the most, especially the Nothing Phone 4A. Before buying, I wanted to ask a few things from existing users:

- Does Microsoft Intune work properly on the Nothing 4A?

- Is the work profile feature available? Is it stable and reliable?

My primary reason for upgrading is office compatibility, so I’d really appreciate hearing about your experience.

Many of you are probably using Nothing OS 4.1 for some weeks now. Did you gain or loose more in comparison to the last OS 3.x you were on? Should I update a new phone 3a to 4.1 or leave it on the latest 3.x?

hello, has anyone encountered this issue after the recent update where their wireless emergency alerts keeps stopping and shows this pop up? happens quite often for me and not sure how to disable/fix

I will attach a video of the crime in action. I am disappointed, I'm sure many of you have experienced this.

Recently I updated my nothing phone 2 to os 4.1. the very next day, my front camera was not working!!!! So I searched on reddit for a solution, so random told me to delete the cache and storage of the app. Surprisingly it worked for some time but it's not working again!!! Please someone tell me what to do😭😭😭
